This is our year to win the Sb. We have all the players in place to do it. However if We dont win it all this season, it's only going to get harder. There are contracts nearing their end and players wanting to get big bucks. We will lose some key players in 09+....So with that said, I hope young talent like Stanback, jefferson, Jenkins and pacman( hopfully) all get involved into helping this team and being the future.


Also this move of getting Felix and choice was excelent for the Cowboys!. If Barber cannot be signed We have two guys that can hopefully take over...LIke that we can get Newman signed and other key players. I was against letting Mb3 go but I also dont want 3 Rb's and a depleted Secondary. Henry might be gone aswell.

For a guy who has never won a playoff game while HC, winning the ultimate game is a lot of pressure for Wade.

But Jerra has set up Wade for success at every position save backup QB.
So, if we don't go deep into the playoffs I could see growing pressure to give Wade his severance pay. But Jerra's heart is sometimes bigger than his brain, and i can also see Jerra giving Mr. Wade "Shrug" Phillips another year to do what we all know he can't do. And that is will his team to win like other coaches have done.

Wade is way over his head. I hope he goes his own way soon.

I cant wait untill the season starts because i really cant wait untill MB3 dominates on the field then everyone will be back on his bandwagon. I just wont a couple of laughs at some of you guys expense.

We've got 3 key areas to improve upon:

1. Running the ball: despite the numbers, we weren't very good at running the ball. Part of that is Julius' vision and Barber's slow feet but a big part of that is an underachieving OL. Our biggest hope is Houck gets this group playing better here.

2. Defensive secondary: Any scheme that gets RoyW/Reeves/Jones off the field is bound to be an improvement. Given that the new players may be Pacman, Jenkins and Scandrick is even more reason for optimism.

3. Special teams: It looks like some of the new guys can contribute as returns and on the coverage units. It would be hard for us to be much worse than were last year. Only the kicker and Austin were strengths last year.

The last factor is luck. Last year our luck turned bad with TO having a late season injury. What will happen this year? If any of TO/Witten/Ware/Romo get hurt we won't have much of a chance.
