Still mad from yesterday.

I bet you are.

Yeah ....I'm upset.

Are you still mad since.......well, since you became an Eagle fan?

With no Super Bowl trophy, I bet you are.

Bringing up the Superbowls.

Great comeback, slick.

I'm confident Dallas would beat Philly if given the rematch.. There's just no way in today's NFL that a team can beat another three times in one season.

What if the Chargers played the Lions three times in a row?

Would you bet the mortgage on the Lions to in one?

On wild card weekend, the 3rd seed gets one extra day, so they play on Sunday.

Us being the 5th seed would play the 4th seed on Saturday. Probably Saturday night like we did against the Panthers a few years ago.

Barely see Timbo all season, and now he comes around to spout off. Typical Beagles fan. Never even know most of them exist until you start to smell their BS.

Actually, I've been here all season.

Even when the Eagles were losing all those games.

You're a skins fan, so you should just sit in the corner and wait until next season starts. ( not like your team is going to do anything anyway )

If you have to worry about who you are playing in the playoffs, you're not well-suited for success in the playoffs, anyway.

As is stands...If philly beats the Falcons on Sunday then we will end up with the 5th seed and play Seattle on Saturday (time TBD). The Eagle will play #6 seed at home Sunday afternoon.

THe loss to the Eagles was not good but not totally bad either. We actually match up better against the Seahawks than any other team and play on the road better than home.

Winning at Seattle ( and Philly winning their Wild Card) would send us to Chicago against a very beatable Bear's team. Now it may be 15 degrees but at least this will be one team that our defense should be able to stop. The Jones brothers will be the storyline for the game. This would be a better matchup than playing a Philly or New Orleans team.

Now the Conference Championship game will also be played on the road against Philly or NO ( whoever wins the divisional playoffs game). Both will be superhyped and I can only imagine if we have to play Philly in Philly for the game to see who goes to the Superbowl. WOW! It is too early for any predictions but this is a realistic picture of the upcoming playoffs.

So right now I see the loss as not a good thing but something that could work in our favor.

Right now our defense is not playing well and not playing with any confidence and any high powered offense will have us for lunch right now. Well Seattle does not have that kind of offense (not taking anything away from Hassleback but their offense has been struggling the whole season) and our offense can be corrected when we are not playing from behind.

I actually like how things are turning out and I think you guys will too once we get to Chicago!

Not always. For example, last year the Patriots, the #4 seed, played the #5 Jaguars on the Saturday game. I believe that CBS/FOX gets to pick the game they want. I have a feeling they will pick the Cowboys game to get back at NBC for having us on Primetime four times this year and the mega ratings that come with it. I'm pretty sure we'l play Sunday.

I was curious because NBC/ESPN call the games on Saturday and Fox will call it on Sunday. Do we want the Aikman crew? The Madden/Michaels crew? Or the jokers from Monday Night Football?
NBC gets two games and Collinsworth/Tom Hammonds (of Notre Dame football) will call the other game.

Well, it's Seattle unless the Eagles lose.

If the Eagles lose, and we win, then we will play at home against (NY, St.Louis,Green Bay, ect.) or whoever comes out of that mess.

Well yeah, but we were interested in knowing what day the Cowboys will play in the postseason, considering some of us have work obligations on Saturday. I may have to do the cash office that Saturday and could "volunteer" to go home early after I finish the office work on Saturday in light of our post-Christmas budget cuts.
