But if it does, I'd love it to be against the Ginats, Eagles and Patriots, in that order, in the plsyoffs! :D
that would be awesome. I'd wouldn't mind beating the Stealers either:D

There you go! That's the spirit! Now wasn't that much more fun?
Steelers or Pats would do just fine. :)

It's very doable. All we need is two touchdowns plus extra points, a FG and a safety OR one touchdown and four fieldgoals. Everyone will go nuts either way.

  • God will still be on the throne.
  • The AFC will be denied the throne.
  • Commanders Eagles, and Giants fans will be bent over the throne.
  • Elder will still be selling throne's

If the Cowboys were to go 19-0, I think Roger Goodell would disband the NFL.

In all seriousness, Jerry Jones might retire.

when you think of how much mileage the Fins of 72 got out of that year when their division was a joke and they faced as weak a schedule as anyone has, and then we win 2 more games with a pretty tough schedule in the best division in football, it would be so sweet I would die of sugar overdose. And the mortician would need a hammer and chisel to get that smile off of my face.

That's what I'm kinda thinking. I think would look at it and say "I have nothing left to accomplish as GM" then give the reigns over to Stephen.

we will never go 19-0, nor will anyone from our division.....it is too darn tough.

our division isnt the NFC West of the 1980s, the AFC East of the early 2000s, or the current AFC West.....we actually have 3-4 legit football teams year in and year out.

if you look at all of the NFC East Division Champs, excluding the strike years, I bet less than a handful went undefeated in the division.

Now, if we did somehow sweep our division, I could see us going 10-0 the rest of the way, as long as we stayed away from NO and Oakland.

I don't think it's out of the question for us to go 6-0 in the division. Unlikely, but it wouldn't shock me. Giants and Eagles are severely overrated and the Commanders are..well..the Commanders.

IIRC, we were the only NFC East team (when we had the Cardinals, too) to go undefeated in the division......was it 98? We only had two out of division wins that year. We lost to Minnesota in the playoffs I think.

For this team to go 19-0, it would first have to believe that it was unbeatable, and I don't see that type of confidence in them. Then there is the problem of injuries, actually executing, not making dumb mistakes, luck, it all coming together, etc. Sure, it is possible - almost anything is - but highly improbable. The percentage of it happening is probably 0.01% if I just randomly picked a number out of thin air based on nothing at all. ;)

1969 - Cowboys 6-0
1998 - Cowboys 8-0
2004 - Eagles 6-0

3 times the winner of our division has gone undefeated.....3 times in 50 years is 6%.....so while there is always a chance we can go undefeated....I will go with the 94 percentile that shows we wont.
