I don't believe for one minute Bill will go back to Bledsoe. If Dallas was to lose in the first round, better it be with Romo. He would at least get some playoff experience. What did Bledsoe ever do to warrant this hatred towards him I see in these posts? You would think he was public enemy #1 in Dallas.

No, he's PE #2.

Seriously, Bledsoe did his job to the best of his ability, and he's appreciated for that.

It's just that many of us saw what he was about as far back as NE, and guessed the finale here. Every game he started was painful, even those he did okay in.

He's been class as a backup, imo, regardless of whether he refused to mop up in a game.

But I hope I never see him under center in Dallas again.

I have been studying plenty of it....and you can clearly see that Romo has digressed as a NFL QB during the month of december:

http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/396886/gamelogs/2006

4 TD's, 7 INT's, 9 sacks, 68.3 QB rating, 3 lost fumbles

Also in 3 of the last four games his QB rating was 58.8 or lower.

Don't hate me....these are just the FACTS jack.

Munchis....Out!!

Ok "jack", maybe you wanna look at this:

In games against Houston and Tennessee, he had a QB rating of above 100. Which any decent QB should have.

Against Washington, another sub-par team defensively, he had a QB rating of above 80.

Ok, let's see what his stats are in the other three games (@ JAX, vs. NYG, @ PHI)

1 TD, 7 INT, 13 sacks, 44.5 QB Rating, 2 lost fumbles

Also, in ALL of those 3 games, Bledsoe did not achieve a QB rating of higher than 54.5.

Ok, we'll be seeing teams like Jacksonville, New York, and Philadelphia in the playoffs, not teams like Houston, the early Tennessee, or Washington. So, here's my question to you: Do you want THAT Drew Bledsoe? The Drew Bledsoe that had a 33 QB Rating in the game against Philadelphia? I didn't think so.

Just the facts, Jack.

Oh no no no it's not like that. It's just, you tend to just want to bash a QB that has stupid little followers like Munchis.

I don't hate Bledsoe. I just hate his followers.

The biggest loss this season has been the man in your signature (T. Glenn).....he is a shell of his former self without Bledsoe.

Bullcrap!

It's not bad enough I have to read that TO makes Glenn stuff day in and day out w/o the Bledsoe made him too garbage.

I just think that Bledsoe is the better QB to be able to get into high scoring affairs with the likes of the Eagles and Saints in the playoffs.....he dismantled the saints in preseason and is 2-1 against the Eagles as a cowboy....something no other QB since Aikman can boast about.

Munchis....Out!!

The line, the line, the line.

How they turn into pillars of salt..and they well might, when DB is under C.

The man is 'unprotectable'....that's the operative word. A great oline would be hard pressed to keep him upright.

And let's not forget his bad decisions a la throwing to Sam Madison. Rookie mistakes...intolerable.

THAT'S what finally did Drew in.

Scott Shanle stinks...

The 43 is better than the 34...

Patriots Super Bowl teams can't compare to the mid-90s Cowboys teams...

Al Singleton is a god...

- just testing -

Does the big tuna go back to Bledsoe for the playoffs?

Is it feasible that the a rested gunslinging veteran can win 3 straight on the road like the Steelers did last year in the playoffs? After all the NFC is far from a powerhouse conference....

Thoughts.....

Munchis....Out!!!!

Welcome back! You know we missed you.

The icing on the cake after our biggest loss.. The return of Munchis.

Yes I do want that Drew Bledsoe.....because we at least drove down to tie the football game despite the turnover....with Romo we never had a chance from the opening kickoff. Also Drew won in philly last year as well despite trailing by 2 scores late in 4th quarter...

His statline might not always be pretty and there's games he might get sacked 7 times....but at least he knows how to WIN.

Romo is still a bit unpolished and has a long way to before he's a true probowl QB...

Flame away if you like...but this is the reality of things.

Just be happy he's pulling games out of the 2005 sack...relatively recent history.

Because he could quote you chapter and verse about every game he saw Drew play in NE.

Dreadsoe is happy standing on the sidelines snuggled up in his jacket eating sunflower seeds. If we have to put him back in for anything you can sound the dinner bell. It's ova.

Interesting point in your signature about being 9-6 at this point last year too.....also funny how Bledsoe went 9-7 with a less talented team.

Drew might be chewing the sunflower seeds now...but just like in 2001 I'm sure he's ready to lead a team to the superbowl for the 3rd time if called upon.

Correction....it was the 2002 AFC Championship game (2001 season) at pittsburgh when Brady got hurt.

Bledsoe came in and let the pats to the superbowl for the 2nd time in his career.

Well, luckily, Tony's going to stay 100% healthy thruout the playoffs so Drew's services will not be needed.

If they are....I hope Kosier and Company get fair warning.

So they can decide if they want to play or just forfeit.

I have never understood that myself. you would think he spiked the ball on the star as an opposing player or soemething....

Oh wait...That was some Wide Reciever who now is worshipped by many posters here...

Kind of backwards huh?

If you dislike Bledsoe then fine that is your choice. However, to degrade him or post like he is the anti-christ is not only over the top but pretty pathetic.

I am REALLY glad we have Bledsoe ready to go if Romo gets hurt. He just might win an NFC championship game and put us in the superbowl.

New England fans still have Bledsoe to thank for putting the Patriots in the superbowl in 2001.
