If we lose Sunday, How many here will say that it may be a good thing.

Philly will get the bye and we won't have to face them first Play off game.

We may match up better vs Arizona or Minn.

Just asking;)

The winner of the game would need a bit of help from other teams in order to get a bye anyway.

It can be good no matter which way it goes. The week really is just for bragging rights and momentum.

no, Philly clinches the bye with a win.

I may be wrong but I think we have a better chance at a run vs Minn,or Arizona.

thanks it has been on my other cpu that I finally hooked up to the TV. Had to change the wording though..:D

If we are a better team than Philly, it won't matter either way.

I say go for NFC East Championship. :star:

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I would prefer to lose , HELL NO!!!!
I'm just saying IF we lose. I guess I'm just looking for a silver lining whatever the outcome.

I would love to spank the iggles and if we meet them again ,spank them for the third time.:D

Seriously... I dont care about a win or loss here.

What I do care about is bringing the pain on McNabb.

I want to bludgeon this guy. Ankle, hamstring or ribs. Any of those will do. I dont want him 100% if we have to face him again.

He gets the best of us more times than not. That last game against them he was a ankle tackle away from winning the game with his legs.

The Cowboys need to bring it..... HARD! A couple of hits to the back (ala Jason Campbell) would be a nice start.

Momentum is a wonderful thing. I like our chances better if we enter the playoffs on a 3 game winning streak. Plus if we win, we're guaranteed of playing at home in the first game whether it's next week or in two weeks. There is no guarantee that we beat Minnesota or Arizona (or anybody else). Ever thought about that?

And yet, it will be lost on alot of people.

Folks, it's time for the Cowboys to impose their will on people. It's go time.

No, Philly is the 2nd seed right now, to bad ESPN junkiees don't know that because ESPN seems to be covering it up :laugh2:

No, it isnt a good for thing for a few reasons:

1) A loss means we dont win the NFC East again, even though we had a great chance to do so.

2) A loss means we have ZERO chance to have any home playoffs games, and instead have to win 3 road games to get to the Super Bowl.

3) A loss might start the "here we go again" thoughts and ideas in regards to the December/January swoon.

4) This is a statement game, not only for the current season but for next season as well. If they play well and win, we sweep Philly and show them and alot of other etams that things ARE different now.

Lose and we automatically have 3 road games before the SB, because the damn cheesheads already beat us.

That's a good thing?
