Philly will get the bye and we won't have to face them first Play off game.

We may match up better vs Arizona or Minn.

Just asking;)
Well, if Romo has a bad game or RW11 drops a pass or Newman gets beat on a pass or Garrett makes a series of pass-happy plays or MBIII gets stuffed behind the line I won't throw them under the bus I can tell you that.
If they win, they deserve to win and if they lose then maybe they faced a very good team but it isn't the end either way.

The winner of the game would need a bit of help from other teams in order to get a bye anyway.

It's my understanding if Philly wins they are the number two seed. We need help not Philly.

well, if you're gonna weigh things out.

Win = play indoors at home
loss = likely play indoors on the road

In that sense...I guess either is OK.

But this game isn't about the playoffs. It's about 17 and winning another game. It's also about making up for the pitiful effort in last year's week 17 matcup vs Philly...

The problem is that if we lose we would likely have to win AT NO, AT Green Bay, and AT Philthy to make the SB. That's a TALL order. NO would scare me the least. If we win, we'd get GB and possibly philly at home where they'd be much more beatable. I don't want to have to go to either of those places, although I think sometimes we play more focused on the road and the home team relaxes a bit.

I may be wrong but I think we have a better chance at a run vs Minn,or Arizona.

Its hard to say, if we are the 6th seed we would have to head to NO in the second round. Any way you slice Dallas just needs to play some quality football.

Not in the Championship game.

But a win tomorrow means we could very possibly host Green Bay in the Championship game.

Green Bay in the championship game? They are 2-4 vs quality opponents this season, no way are they going to make the NFC Championship game.

It depends on which GB team shows up, though they have struggled on the road alot.

They are a better team now than they were the first half of the season though.

Dont get me wrong, I dont think they are a great team, but New Orleans and Minnesota are extremely vulnerable. I think its wide open in the NFC.

If we win , only a Giants victory in Minnesota would keep us from opening the playoffs at home vs. Philly. IOW, we win and we host Philly again the next week.

If we lose, we might have to go to Philly or GB for the NFCC, but not both. A Dallas loss tomorrow guarantees Dal @ NO two weeks later (assuming we win in the first rd).

I think this year in the NFC that all of the six teams have an equal chance at making the superbowl. No one team would surprise me over the other really.

Seriously... I dont care about a win or loss here.

What I do care about is bringing the pain on McNabb.

I want to bludgeon this guy. Ankle, hamstring or ribs. Any of those will do. I dont want him 100% if we have to face him again.

He gets the best of us more times than not. That last game against them he was a ankle tackle away from winning the game with his legs.

The Cowboys need to bring it..... HARD! A couple of hits to the back (ala Jason Campbell) would be a nice start.

This is exactly what we need to do. Make life miserable for Mcnabb.

Lots of Eagles Fans last year thought they had a easy path to the SB when they went to Arizona and look what happened. So there is no easy path to the SB no matter if we play the Eagles or Not

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody! We need to win this game to step forward and claim the NFC East. Forget what everybody else is doing. If this team is going to return to the "glory days" of the '90's it needs to just win, one game at a time. If we are ready for prime time PO games, we need to beat Philly twice in a row if tha's what it takes.

Also, a win, for me, will go a long way to provingthat Wade and Jason can outcoach Andy Reid, which is not an easy thing to do.

I hope we do win not just because I'm a fan, but I'd like to see us w/ a coach that can "show results" as Jerry said, and get off this coaching carousel we've been on since the days of Tom Landry...
