If (when) Dan Quinn leaves? Really? Why can’t we EVER just live in the moment or enjoy the journey? Why must we always stress about future possibilities? Cap space, trades, injuries, the draft, officiating, circumstance—so many variables, so many possibilities, in a business that changes drastically from year to year, and virtually none of it affected by anything the fans say or do. I know, I know, we’re here to speculate, discuss the possibilities, share ideas, etc., but it just seems like sometimes too many people simply can’t RELAX!

Would be more positive responses if you posted that no way Jerry lets Q leave.
We cannot let Q leave, he has proven to be instrumental in this teams turn around.
Pay the man whatever he wants, doesn't count against the cap, Q is more valuable than then even McCarthy.

THIS^^^^

DQ is the most important coach on the Cowboys.

Bar none.

Some think it's premature to discuss this. Not me. Not only is this likely, but Micah will follow him once his rookie deal is up. That's why I'm a big fan of Floatyworm/s suggestion of trading Micah before he wears himself out.

Parsons can say whatever but he’s not leaving the Cowboys

If push comes to shove you trade Diggs for the right price but not Parsons

2 seasons ago we were seeing these same threads about Kellen Moore too.

If the defense yields 170 rushing yards in the playoff game, like last year , this thread might be moot.

If MM is still the HC then he needs to be paired with an EXPERIENCED DC. If you are wanting to win anyway.

It's way too early to be discussing this
Not really. Very low likelihood he’s here next year. And it’s not about the money, nor being offered the HC gig in Dallas if it comes to that.

I agree.... but do we really think DQ is the only def. cord that can coach this much talent? Remember DQ said himself the best decision he made was scrapping his defense scheme and working with the players to develop our current scheme. I Feel opposite of you guys... DQ ain't leaving because he knows what he got here... lol

Nothing to do with the money. Quinn wants to head coach again, and he knows Dallas is not the place to do it.
