If you are smart, you trade up a bit to get Levis

I said it last night, I would rather draft Levis than pay Dak another 40-50 million dollar deal. It is just due diligence at this point to get him if you can. If Dak can't win the big game then there is no reason to pay him 40-50 million - it is just useless.

Yeah I'd have no problem spending a 2nd on Levis and would even consider Hooker, but I'm not giving up premium picks for a player to ride the bench for the next two seasons.

That would’ve been an absolutely stupid move to use our first round pick on a QB but I figured one of the Dak detractors would want to take Levis after he began to fall. Trading up for him would’ve been beyond stupid! Glad you don’t run the team.

I like Dak with and objective and football educated mind, but I would love to land Levis.....

Hendon Hooker will be a much better QB than Levis the turnover machine. With that being said, neither one is getting drafted by Dallas.

So you would rather miss the playoffs then make the playoffs and have a chance to win it all?

Sounds like an amazing plan.

Let me guess, Levis is the next Mahomes right?

You must know something the rest of the NFL doesnt. Now if the Cowboys think he can be a top 10 QB, then by all means draft him. But what does that do for us? Gets us right back to where we are now. A top 10 QB.

I don't care if it's Levis or another QB and I don't even care what round - I care that we spend a pick on a QB every year.

It's worth the risk that they hit then you have a good problem of shipping Dak out for draft picks and you get a new QB on a rookie deal or you ship out the player like New England did with Garroppolo for draft picks if he has value.

Maybe they don't end up being a starter but a good back up and maybe they flat-out bust but either way - to not even try is franchise negligence with the ceiling we have at the position.
