If you are smart, you trade up a bit to get Levis

Paxton was dumb as dirt - not the same. Levis cognitive score was 93%, Stroud was 18%
Didn’t really translate to collegiate success though. Every time I watched a game of his or Richardson’s it made me more perplexed as to why scouts were high on them.

Hendon Hooker will be a much better QB than Levis the turnover machine. With that being said, neither one is getting drafted by Dallas.
Levis had no protection or anyone to throw the ball too last year. He is way more talented and much younger than Hooker. Now he's got a chip on his shoulders from the first round snub. Somebody is going to steal a QB tonight.

I said it last night, I would rather draft Levis than pay Dak another 40-50 million dollar deal. It is just due diligence at this point to get him if you can. If Dak can't win the big game then there is no reason to pay him 40-50 million - it is just useless.
Nothing could be more dumber then to trade up for Levis.

What's special about him? Just wondering

The last two years CJ Stroud has thrown 85 Touchdowns to 12 interceptions, Will Levis has thrown 43 Touchdowns to 23 Interceptions

You must know something the rest of the NFL doesnt. Now if the Cowboys think he can be a top 10 QB, then by all means draft him. But what does that do for us? Gets us right back to where we are now. A top 10 QB.
We aren't drafting him in the top ten!! Lol! Typical hater comment

I'll bet a lot of man-hours went into studying him. Very telling that he didn't get selected in the first round- especially given his size and arm.

He will go early in the second round though.

Little biased since I’m a Vols fan, but Hooker had 58 tds and 5 interceptions the last two years. Give me him over Levis anyday!

I don't care if it's Levis or another QB and I don't even care what round - I care that we spend a pick on a QB every year.

It's worth the risk that they hit then you have a good problem of shipping Dak out for draft picks and you get a new QB on a rookie deal or you ship out the player like New England did with Garroppolo for draft picks if he has value.

Maybe they don't end up being a starter but a good back up and maybe they flat-out bust but either way - to not even try is franchise negligence with the ceiling we have at the position.
You can’t invest a draft pick on a QB every year, there’s only so many opportunities they get in training camp and preseason. You’ll end up having to cut one of them before they have a chance and they could develop elsewhere.

QB is the most important positiion. Its our biggest need. One of the biggest reasons we get from fans is that we have to stick with Dak as we dont ever get the chance to draft a 1st round graded QB.

There was one on the board when our turn came..........guess what the brain trust did .

Trading up to the top of the 2nd makes sense
