Fitzgerald as an added player. But starting from scratch it would be Brady.

Am I really going to be the first one to say Tom Brady?

Why would you address QB when given an opportunity like this? Wouldn't you rather address an area on the team that needs it?

MLB?
LT?
S?
LG?
DL?

It would be an opportunity to take a YOUNG player that is one of the best at his position. Taking a veteran at a position we're not hurting at makes little sense to me.

Brett Favre...just kidding.

Larry Fitzgerald is my resounding choice.
Matt Ryan is a close second.

If you could take one player, from any team in the league and plug him in on the 2009 Cowboys - who would it be and why?

No salary restrictions, so we won't need any of those 'This Ain't Madden' images. Dream on.

Mine is Patrick Willis. The kid is an absolute monster, and would immediately make our interior defense one of the best in the game.

Didn't immediately think of him. But that is an extremely good pick for this club right now.

If I knew there was one out there, and there may be, I would take a Larry Allen clone. He could backup either guard or tackle and immediately play LG.

Because QB is the most important position on the field by far and Brady is one of the best of all time. I totally appreciate Romo and don't understand why some bash him. But I do think it's possible he's a Danny White or even McNabb who is a really good QB but doesn't quite get over the hump. With Brady there's no doubt he can do it.

Don't get me wrong... Romo is one of the best in the game and we're very lucky to have him. Sometimes I'm amazed at how quickly people forget the Quincy/Hutch days. But Brady is one of the best ever, I'm afraid.

Now I see why nobody else brought up a QB... Because it's going to turn into a huge Romo debate complete with a certain poster complaining about golf and dating during the week and failed rock bands. Sorry guys. :(

If I had to pick a non-QB, I'd go with a great left tackle or interior defensive lineman. Maybe Joe Thomas or Kevin Williams?

Brady.

Clady is a nice choice as well. So would be Joe Thomas.

Joe Thomas would beg to differ.

Clady only had three penalties and gave up just one sack. Thomas played well, but Clady was simply better.

Nnamdi Asomugha from the Raiders. T-New and Nnamdi would be steller and then having Orlando in the slot would be amazing.

If there's no salary cap problems, you take the best player available and in this case Tom Brady or Peyton Manning depending on who you like better. Then you deal Romo to a QB challenged team for 2 or 3 1st Round draft picks.

If it's not a QB then I would choose between; Larry Fitzgerald, Nnamdi Asomugha (Then Scandrick can play the star position) Patrick Willis & Joe Thomas (I think he fits our scheme better than Clady).

But why limit it to players; if I had the choice of any one person on an NFL team it would be coach Bill Belichick. He knows how to coach a celebrity QB, plus he's won a playoff game or two.

Steve Hutchinson or Allen Faneca anyone?

I was about to post something about Nnamdi. Either of the Cromartie kin wouldn't hurt either. I really think DRC will be an elite corner in this league very soon.

If you really get down to it, it comes to a choice between the best young LT and the best young FS. I am torn because both are a problem for us and both are really REALLY important.

Ryan Clady. Best young tackle in football.

Clady's a good pick. I went looking for a good LT but not hard enough. Willis would be a close second: young players at positions of need. I assume I can't take a coach, right?

Healthy Tom Brady.

Forget this talk about the Oline not being as good as the Patriots. When We played them Wade was sending some Heat at Him and Every single time He read the play and made the right decision.

Ed Reed would be my second choice.

larry Fitzgerald my thrid choice.

If I could pick any player at any position, CB would be way down the list. Another superstar CB would not make our team much better than it already is.

You have to take him all old and coming off the injury. Awfully hard to pass up a player 8 years younger at a position of real need.
