Would need more capital in return than even the Hershel Walker trade.
Parsons is worth more than any team in the league would be willing to give up.

Anybody that is stopping their list at just two quarterbacks (Mahomes and Allen), or saying nobody, I would never want for my GM.

Sure the guy is a stud. But he will never be as important as a quarterback

We’re finding out this season what I’ve been saying for years, the QB isn’t the problem with the Cowboys it’s been mainly their defense. I’ve said repeatedly that if we had a championship caliber defense that could get after the QB and make critical stops with games on the line we could go a long way with Dak. Despite pedestrian numbers by Cooper Rush we’ve won 4 straight. It would be beyond crazy to trade away a generational defensive player who’s taken our defense to a level we haven’t seen since the Cowboys were winning Super Bowls for another QB. Josh Allen hasn’t been to a Super Bowl but had a great opportunity last season if it wasn’t for his defense in the playoffs. Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes had Cincinnati down in the playoffs but they couldn’t stop them.

Eli Manning beat the Cowboys in a playoff game in 2007 with just over 100 yards because of his defense. His defense was the main reason they won the Super Bowl. We hear it all the time that defense wins championships. If Dak can return to even close to what he was we have a real shot this season if the defense continues to play the way it has. There’s been a number of teams over the years win Super Bowls with a lesser QB than Dak because they had great defenses. If your QB is having carry you it’s going to catch up with you in the playoffs. As great as Aaron Rodgers is he’s only won one Super Bowl because he’s always having to carry the Packers. Micah Parsons is just scratching the surface on what he will become health permitting.

I would consider adding Nick Bosa.
Wonder how well the defense plays if Micah is out a couple of weeks, I think the dline is very good. I thought there would be major regression as last year it was all about turnovers.
Nice to be surprised in a good way

It baffles me that some folks don't understand there is Mahomes then a pretty sizeable gap then a few other super elite guys. He is in a class by himself as an all around QB talent.

That's a fine choice if you are going for a short window. Since this is about trading Parsons, you would need someone who is going to give you high level play & longevity in return.
