If You Had A Choice

I seriously doubt JJ gets traded (or has much value on the market), so I think White is out of the equation. MBIII is a very nice compliment to JJ anyway.

I haven't watched Holmes enough to have much of an opinion. Is he something like Glenn?

I don't believe he's a Terry Glenn. I think Galloway is a better comparison but that's just my opinion.

Neither. Both would make the team more solid, but neither are game changers.
Brod Bunkley would give us a pass rushing dt to replace Glover with. He could have the impact that Tommie Harris has had for the Bears. Inside pass rushers takes a qb out of his comfort zone, the pocket and forces him to scramble or throw on the run. The Bears took both Tommie Harris and Tank Johnson in the same draft for that very reason, now look at their defense.
Tip: Randy White made Harvey Martin better, Leon Lett made Charles Haley better, Kevin Williams would have made Ekuban better........

Well none of the three really excites me all that much.

And I kind of doubt Bill would take a WR there...I am not sure they would take another secondary player there either....However I am also sure they would not take another RB when he has had his past of taking them in lower rounds.

But if pressed I think I would take Holmes.....I guess it all depends on how they feel about the Saftey position...would they rather try to get someone via FA or not.

LARON LANDRY S

SANTONIO HOLMES WR

or

LENDALE WHITE RB
(which involves trading JJ(injury prone) for other players)

at number 18 who would you take.
If I had to choose one of those three, I would choose Landry. He is the only one of those three who would actually have a chance start next year.

Yeah, but all of those guys played in a 43. In that scheme, I absolutly agree with you. There is no question in my mind but in a 34, those same skills that might make him great in a 43 would get him killed in a 34.

I don't know what round he's going but I want Devin Hester Miami . He Instantly upgrades special teams. TT cannot Juke a Statue on the field. We need playmakers!!!
I was looking through last years Sporting News Draft Guide and looked at out DP's we had. Funny thing I noticed was it had MB3 running a 4.50 40 and TT running a 4.56 40...... Now BP has said he's the fastest player on the team so where the numbers in the Guide wrong or did TT just have a bad day whent he ran his 40? I mean there is no way MB3 is near as fast as TT...

You guys may think I'm Crazy but I think we take the best Defensive player available whether it be a FS, LB or even DT (I think we need a true 34 DT with speed face it Ferggie isn't going to be here long) Second round I look at WR, QB, or OT

Heck depending on who's there I may trade 18 for a second and first next year....
