First, I would CAREFULLY tithe the first 10 percent and take care of my family.

I would have two places to call home:

One would be a house boat docked in San Diego Bay. I took one of those tours of the area a few years ago and they showed us all these nice, big boats docked there (one belonged to Jerry Lewis). There's a huge hotel right there and they provide room service to people who live on the boats. Nice. This also reminds me of the scene in the movie "Blood Works" with Clint Eastwood, who, when asked why he lives on a boat, he responds, "I hate yard work."

I would also want to build a little Old West town on some property in the Hondo Valley in south-central New Mexico. Storefronts, boardwalks, blacksmith shop, the whole bit. I would hire some people to run it and also use it as a summer camp for urban kids or poor, "at-risk" kids who need spiritual guidance and a chance to be outside in a great environment.

As for transportation, I would buy the biggest, most-beautiful Cadillac sedan they make and do some traveling (I have no use for RVs), viewing historical sites, eating at diners and watching ball games.

I would buy land, tons of land. With a trout stream running through it. spring fed. With dense woods where i could hunt deer, and fields for pheasents. Id have acouple fourwheelers and snowmobiles.

My house would be a ranch style, one story with a finished basement. I would have a barn, with a basement. My barn would have a stage and id hire bands and throw huge parties.

I would buy 100 acres of property, preferably in a square shape....I would leave most of it wooded, as to allow a safe haven for wild animals.

I would build my home and yard on about 2 acres of the property. Surrounding these 2 acres would be 2 ft thick, 10 ft high rock wall along the perimeter, with a master gate at the front. My home would be 2 stories with a double decker patio. My master bedroom would open up on the upper patio and it would be a leisure area for me and the mrs.

I would have a huge kitchen with all the anemities I want. A dining room, a family room where we can gather and just have conversation, a Media room with a wall sized projection screen to watch movies and sports.

In my Leisure Room I would have a Pool Table, electronic dart board, shuffleboard, ping pong table, air hockey table, hockey fooseball, soccer fooseball, shuffleboard, 2 skiball lanes, and 2 bowling lanes, a pinball machine or two, flat panel TVs in every corner, a mp3 jukebox.

In my gameroom I would have some tables set up for cards, dominoes, board games, and jigsaw puzzles.

In the arcade, I would have a 25" Flat Panel HDTV for each of the gaming systems I want...Atari, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, XBox, XBox 360, PS2, PS3.

I would have a toy room with various toys that my kids and the other kids and my family can play with, without messing up their bedrooms.

I would have a room devoted to my sports collectables. This room would have a lock on it and I would have the only key.

I would have a library where the bookshelves were inset.....I would have a writing table, a drawing/tracing table, a few comfortable chairs for reading, and a computer terminal.

I would make a gym with a full sized basketball court. I would have a workout room in there as well, with free weights, various machines, and also a place for yoga and cardio workouts. I would have a gated tennis court right next to the gym, with lights so we can play at night.

I would have a swimming pool with a grotto and a jacuzzi.

In my yard, I would have several trees Oaks, Pecan, and those trees that have pink and purple flowers in the spring that smell so nice. I would have plant and flower gardens around each tree. There would be walking paths throughout the yard, and a sidewalk along the edge of the property next to the outer walls. I would have bird feeders throughout my yard, along with bird houses.

The garage would be a 5 car garage, though I would only have a Truck and luxury car.

This should take care of about 10-15 million:laugh2:

With the rest, I would pay off all of my debt, my parents' debt, and my siblings debt. I would help my brother improve his business. I would help my sister start her own. I would help both of my parents get the best medical care possible. Once my family was taken care of.....

I would set up a retirement fund for myself by investing in Gold, Silver, etc....

I would buy season tickets to the Spurs, Cowboys, and Longhorns football.

Now for the philanthropy work......
Give away scholarships for graduates of my HS alma mater. Give away scholarships for those who are studying to become teachers, nurses, biologists, or geologists at my college alma mater.

I would donate a scoreboard to my HS football field, one with instant replay capabilities....like the one in Round Rock ISD

I would also do some other things here locally in San Antonio......such as helping out Santa Rosa and St. Jude Hospitals, The Ronald McDonald House, the Battered Women's shelter.....and also help out the Shriner's Hospital in Houston.

If I had any more money, I would help my college alma mater start up a football program.

Since I'm kind of a loner, I would give 25% to my family so they could all retire, and 10% to different charities. The rest I would rent a nice little apartment in Oregon, and travel the USA, and travel the world.

You would need alot of time and money to do that?

In my life... I have had 3 different opportunities... each time it was the girlfriend at the time and her friend. The Friend was always into it and the girlfriendssaid yes.... but they ALWAYS eventually threw a monkey wrench in the program - not allowing it.

It wasnt going to be very expensive....

Peter Gibbons: What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man.
Peter Gibbons: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes with money.
Peter Gibbons: Well, not all chicks.
Lawrence: Well, the type of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do.
Peter Gibbons: Good point.
Lawrence: Well, what about you now? what would you do?
Peter Gibbons: Besides two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Well, yeah.
Peter Gibbons: Nothing.
Lawrence: Nothing, huh?
Peter Gibbons: I would relax... I would sit on my *** all day... I would do nothing.
Lawrence: Well, you don't need a million dollars to do nothing, man. Take a look at my cousin: he's broke, don't do ****.

I've kinda living that life.

The biggest thing that people don't understand is how to fill in the time. I want to play golf but all my friends are busy with their jobs...I want to go somewhere but my close friends can't afford to and are too proud to have me pay.

You find yourself voluteering for any and everything you can. I'm currently coaching Odyssey of the Mind, softball, wrestling, and golf, running girl scouts and building a set for an elementary production of High School Musical.

I've kept an interest in one business simply because it protects my sanity having adults to deal with on occasion and I really love that one business.

It really is a Catch-22. Awesome to be able to spend time with your children but committing to spending time with your children cuts into the options.

We've downscaled our home because my wife the environmentalist (with whom I agree) says that no one needs a larger home than they need and use. I've never cared about cars and my wife really isn't into the gas guzzlers (she does let me keep my viper though even if I only put 500 miles a year on it) so I'm driving a four year old Suzuki as an everyday car.

First I would build a house to my exact specs. I won't bore you with the details, but it would be pretty cool.

But if given unlimited time and money.....I always wanted to build a car for the Bonneville salt flats. See what our personal top speed could be. I'd like to say I went 500mph on the ground. (or die trying)

If I had a top 5 it would be in it. I have watched it a million times and will watch it a million more.

I nearly died of laughter the first time I saw it. My friend and I watched it, went out got a pizza, hot wings 12 pack saranac lager and watched it again and laughed even harder.

Simply a brilliant movie.

My house would be a ranch style, one story with a finished basement. I would have a barn, with a basement. My barn would have a stage and id hire bands and throw huge parties.

The first time I ever sang in public was at a farm with just that sort of barn... the owner was a member of the golf club I worked at, he had a construction firm that specialized in the renovation of office building in the Metro DC area, and he had a couple hundred acres back in the boonies about 10 miles from the resort... every year on Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day he'd have a big, 3 day field party...

Bobby (that was his name, Bob Moran) played in a top 40 band at the time as a hobby, I want to say they called themselves the Good Time Band, and he had a lead singer name of Vince Olds who had a real good voice, last I heard he'd tried to make it down in Nashville... this was some years ago...

So Bobby took the barn on that property and took one wall out of it, put up a stage and a big walk-in cooler to keep the kegs... he had his band down to play, and a bluegrass band, and a metal band... I can only remember the name of the metal band, they called themselves Above and Beyond, and were out of Annapolis...

One band would play an hour set, there would be a 15 minute break while the other band set up, and so on through the night... I had over time gotten to know Bobby and Vince pretty well, and Vince had one of the first Ovation guitars I ever saw, and I fell in love with it... so some time after midnight, after I'd ingested a few recreational chemicals and WAY too much cerveza, Vince takes me aside and suggests I should get up and sing a coupla songs for the folks while one of the bands was setting up... I wasn't too keen on the idea, there were still a couple-three hundred people there, until Vince said I could use his Ovation... I was itching to give it a try, and a bit drunk, so I figured "what the hell??", and agreed...

So up on stage I went, and I sang a couple of my favorites... I was a tad nervous at first, but nobody threw anything at me, so I started to relax and enjoy myself... next thing I know, my best buddy Patrick is up on stage backing me up on vocals (he has a terrific tenor voice, surprising because he's a real big boy, and a fine natural feel for harmonies)... then the bass player from the metal band gets up and starts playing-- the drums... Vince gets up, and grabs the bass... next thing I know, I've got a slew of really good musicians backing me, all of them playing instruments they don't normally play... I was in heaven, and didn't even really care if the folks were enjoying it...

I guess they must have been, because I wound up playing for two hours... I'm pretty sure I played every Jimmy Buffett and Eagles song I ever knew... :D

Anyway, you've got the right idea, build you a "party barn", stack the wood for a bonfire, invite everybody you know... Bobby had softball games and volleyball tournaments during the day, and of course there was always a keg or two or three tapped... I don't even wanna think about how much he laid out for one of those parties, but they were some of the best parties I ever attended...

First, I'd take care of our parents and siblings for life. Maybe throw a little bit to our very close friends.

Then, we'd get a nice piece of land and build a house. Not too big, but big enough to accomodate the family and our special interests (computer repair room for Kilyin, cat activity room, crafts/sewing room for me, TV room for watching the Boys)

I'd also have an animal sanctuary with facilities to house cats, dogs and other small animals. Full time vet on the payroll as well as a full staff to help me run the place.

I can go into much greater detail as to what I'd want, but you people would probably think (know?) I'm crazy.
