If I had to I'd simply cry myself to sleep while drinking Jack and Coke cause both are bad deals.

Manning, Brady, Palmer, Roethlisberger, etc. Even if I had to pick a RB, I'd pick Peterson over LT.

I couldn't agree with your last few comments more. There are only a few players i'd give up 2 #1's for and NONE of them are in the current draft or play for Detriot.

You'd give up two ones if you needed a QB and could get Manning, Brady, Palmer, Big Ben. If you HAD to have a back you certainly should be going with an AP over an LT whose, what, 6 or 7 years of wear and tear older?

out of these two... who would you choose?

Darren McFadden RB

or

Roy Williams WR

Neither.

In the nfl in 2008 there are only two Positions I would give up two first rounders for, and you would have to put a gun to my head to do it.. Those positions are quarterback and Defensive end/outside linebacker.

Me personally, I would never move two 1s. I would pick two players 99 out of 100 times in the draft and take my chances. The only players I would give two number 1s for now would be Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer and Tom Brady.

Deals like the Deion Branch deal make no sense to me. Having two number 1s like we do this year is such a luxury and I think you have to get two good players out of the draft, especially when you have as much talent as we do currently. There is no need for them to play instantly and they can play special teams and learn behind quality people.

I really hope we get a Corner and a Runner/Wide Reciever at 22 and 28.

Dallas also has Barber and TO. I was unaware this was a realistic question.

barber is good, but isnt even close to LT's league. peterson is good, but he's a runner, thats it. he doesnt catch out of the backfield, and couldnt block a punter. maye his game will improve in those areas, but right now he's not in LT's league either. LT, westbrook the 2 best rbs in the nfl.

Barber did more with his first 204 carries than LT did with his this year, so I'd say that he's in the same league. And LT is much, much older meaning that looking forward you're going to see less production from him than Barber.

But hey, you're the doofus that wanted to cut Flozell last offseason, so I can't imagine any logical argument persuading you of anything.

i'd rather have romo over palmer and brady. manning, i dont know romo did out play him when they matched up.

palmer cries too much. and brady seemed lost when the nfl didnt allow the patriots to cheat anymore. sure the giants passrush was a little problem but even when they didnt have pressure on him he didnt seem to know where to go. so i have to think that videoing they wer doing had to have some impact on his game.

Marion Barber doesnt have to be LT. For us he has to be healthy and play physically each week and the results will be good. He is a perfect fit for us. He brings emotion and energy to the team. He is the spark plug for our offense.

He needs a complimentary back though. He cant do it all himself just like most running backs in this league at some point it just isnt there anymore. Hopefully we will add two more good backs this offseason.

Again, barber is just as important and productive in our offense as lt and westbrook or anyone else is to their team. He doesnt need to have the same skills as them, and obviously he doesnt but he is just as productive and he has helped this team win alot of games.

im willing to bet by the time the cowboys run the life out of barber which will probably be in the next 3 yrs, LT will still be the best rb in football

What does that have to do with two number 1s? The question was who would you trade two 1s for. Romo is already here so I didnt even consider him. And I would take Carson Palmer everyday of the week!

I love romo. Palmer, brady and manning are the more prototypical qbs with a bigger body of work. Romo has intagibles that are off the charts to go with his charisma and talent, he is perfect for this team.

He doesn't catch out of the backfield? Wow. That 60+ yard TD, the first of his career, in the opening weekend must not have counted then. Since he never catches out of the backfield.

I'm not arguing he's absolutely better than LT (I think he certainly has much more time, baring critical injuries, to be better) but that comment that he's just a runner shows you watched little to nothing of him last year.

LT will not be the best back in football in 3 years. Within 3 years, baring any career ending injuries for either one, AP will have surpassed LT. Main reason being that he'll be in all of his fourth year while LT will be in, what, his 10th or 11th?

I'll take that bet. Barber lasts 5 years to boot, LT will not be the #1 back in 3 years, probably not in 2 either. Name your price sonny:showme:

Hell, he wasn't even the best back in the league this year.
