That so called curse is long gone. i was from that generation and it was very real then. It only has any merit now because of the old stories and the folks that like to use it as what left of the mind games.

That horse has been beat to death.....i good with it ,all the negative has been extracted...lol! Anyway, I really like those jerseys.

If the Cowboys defeat the Rams this upcoming Sunday - a very reasonable possibility - they will be 3-0 in their last three games when wearing road blue jerseys.

Right now, the Cowboys are 1-4 in their last five games when wearing white.

And if they go 1-2 in their next three white-wearing games against the Saints, Texans and Seahawks - which I think to be the likeliest outcome - they'd fall to 2-6 in their last eight white-wearing games.

If Dallas were to were blue in the games against NO, Houston, and Seattle their most likely record would still be 1-2.

If Dallas had worn their blue jerseys the last 8 games Dallas would have the same record if they wore their white jerseys.

Jerseys have zero to do with wins and losses.

My point exactly. White is no luckier than blue or vice versa.

Growing up in the 1970s, the Cowboys really believed in that "Blue jinx".
It was real evident in the 1980 NFC Championship Game when the Eagles chose to wear their white uniforms only to make the Cowboys wear their blue uniforms.

That following spring & summer, the Cowboys organization came out with the new blue uniforms for the 1981 season. Personally, I still love those uniforms and they are not much different than those of today. I remember the numbers on the hips. The Cowboys wore the blue uniforms on opening day of the 1981 season in Washington. The Cowboys won 26-10 (does that score sound a bit familiar).

These are from that game...this was the only game this version of the "new" blue jersey was worn. Tex Shramm got so many complaints from fans about the thickness of the numbers that he changed the jersey for the next time it was worn to having numbers in silver outlined in white with the blue gap between...

The navy blue jerseys, worn since about the 80s I think, have never been bad luck. It's the discontinued royal blue ones that were bad luck.

Are we sure it was the jerseys that were bad luck that day or was it maybe the QB? LOL!

So in summary: the Cowboys lose when they wear Colts jerseys.

Great post - man I hated Morton. To think that Roger was on the sidelines when that guy played sickens me to this day.
