If your serious about culture change, Murray should see limited snaps

Not to bring it up again, but they also had Micah Parsons. Some don't like to admit it but he is a difference maker.

He was ranked as the worst linebacker in the league last year (or close to it) in Tennessee. And not only did he stay in the league, he got another starting job and a $6M salary. I genuinely do not understand.

Unfortunately fans don't get to choose however just because of the lip service you're hearing about doesn't mean once they watch the tape they start taking snaps away from him Sunday night it could happen but why would they tell you that in public they're supporting him in public maybe he he won't be playing as much but they're not going to tell the Vikings what their plans are because the fans need to be self entitled and involved all the time you realize they do these press conferences because their demand on them so they say what they say doesn't mean that's what they're going to do..


The same with Jerry somehow supporting eberflus II don't see it but he has fired head coaches after one year because he did it with Mike Nolan and just because he's supporting him in public doesn't mean he's not going to ax him at the end of the year..

I know that everyone wants to listen to these press conferences and read what's being written by the star writers and all the stuff coming out that doesn't mean anything but we don't know what's going on behind the scenes...

So again whatever it is that they are doing and the reason for it we will never know..

Yeah I think that's the truth here and that's probably your the best answer on this whole entire thread..

Sometimes fans get ahead of themselves they hate a guy they want them gone immediately but the coaching steps are looking at what they have and don't have and they're putting the guy on the field because he's the lesser of all evils..

But at some point when we're mathematically eliminated you know James just needs to get those snaps and maybe Logan Wilson's just hasn't picked up the whole defense yet or hasn't done enough we don't know what's going on and it really doesn't matter does it that's like a raindrop in a pond There's so many other problems with that defense and problems that we saw with the tackles and guys dropping balls and creating turnovers for your quarterback on offense there's so many problems right now we're going to worry about one linebacker?

Saw more guys on that defense also not tackling or covering or doing their job...

I said people pick guys they want to hang and then they stick to it but you got to realize there were lots of reasons we lost that game On all three phases we can pick out multiple players probably 10 that is why we lost the game not just Murray 59 is a problem yes but he's not the only one they beat up on..

Yeah, the one that's the most baffling is Liafu I really saw something in this kid, and I don't know what he's doing wrong behind the scenes or in practice, but he has seemed to be getting the Jayden Blue attention from the coaches like the doghouse..

I thought Liafu next to Overshown with green dot MLB in Wilson would be the right mix..but...

And there's Logan Wilson maybe he hasn't picked up the defense well enough or showed enough, yet ,but it is a head scratcher when we're talking about culture change, that has nothing to do about this player on the field,

That's not what culture change means... They have been trying to discipline players where it's necessary they're the only ones that know what's going on behind the scenes and they've tried to reward players with more playing time and take away snaps from other players it's not working those players behind them you're right they're not better everyone called for Guyton's head and now look what Nate Thomas hasn't done I mean that one play where he paused and kind of didn't know where to go and kind of stepped inside before he realized he just left a quarterback killer alone on the outside..

As bad as Guyton may have seemed to some at least he has a mean streak and most of the time he's doing his job...

Of course fans see what they want to see and they want to call for someones head and they won't let it go and show our 59 has been a disappointment...

But again and I've said it already too many times in this thread alone there are too many other players not doing well to worry about what How does that change anything I mean who exactly is going to take his place and how is it going to change anything because what we've seen from the rest of the linebacker group from the backup safeties from backup corners and whatnot they are not better than the starters.

We'll get remedied in the offseason hopefully they'll find a better mix...

Lastly the biggest head scratcher is you watch the Lions have so many guys who are truly injured and probably should have been playing they were all questionable they all played the one guy we knew could play that we couldn't use to help regardless of what we think about him is digs and they left him on the sideline..

This game meant more to the Lions the Cowboys didn't even make an attempt to get digs on the field saying you know what he may have been struggling this year but we could use all the help because this game is big no they decided it wasn't big enough..

Blue, . Lions played patient, finding the weak spots. UBERjoke was out coached, which shouldn't surprise us. Watching Murray out there, running like- Jaylon was icing on the cake
