CURTIS TO EAGLES
Receiver Kevin Curtis, whose search for a new team recently was interrupted by jury duty, has finally banged the gavel on his free-agent tour.
The verdict? The Eagles.
Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports that Curtis has agreed to terms with the Eagles on a six-year deal. Financial details are not yet available.
UPDATE: The Eagles have formally announced the move, via the team's official web site. (Then again, the Eagles' web site also announced on Sunday that linebacker Ryan Fowler had signed an offer sheet.)
Curtis, formerly of the Rams, was courted by numerous other teams, including the Vikings, Lions, and Titans. He fired agent Tom Condon last week, and hired Ryan and Bruce Tollner several days ago.

Nice pick up, but paid too much.
How do you know how much they paid? I agree it's a decent pickup, but they still need a #1 receiver.

On NFL Network, Schefter reported that it is around 32-35 million dollars.

That's very disappointing. He's a very good and underrated player. He'll give us some problems for years to come.

Well, he definitely wants just money, because he sure isn't going to get a SuperBowl ring with the organization!!

I apologize on theogt's behalf :D
No need to apologize. I just didn't see where it was posted. If he had the information, he should post it -- as he did after I asked him.

Ok so ive been debating with my friend whos an eagles friend about who is faster......Stallworth or Curtis? Ive looking up their 40 times from the draft on the web but i find different times at each site. Is there an official site I can go to to find out because we made a bet about this and im almost 100% sure Stallworth is faster, i just need proof.

Stallworth is probably slightly faster in a straight line, but I'd say Curtis quicker and shiftier.

And he's definitely less of a head case.

Curtis is that deep receiver the Eagles needed after Stallworth left, i'm sorry to see him there.

Stallworth didn't run at the combine in 2002, but he was known to run in the 4.2s and Kiper had him estimated at 4.25.

In 2003, Curtis ran a 4.43 by Kipers combine numbers, but claimed he had run as fast as 4.35.
