Top 10 senior prospects: Non-BCS schools: 10. ILB Daryl Washington, TCU, 6-3, 228, 4.57 40-yard dash: Stuck behind four-year starter Jason Phillips (fifth-round pick by Baltimore), Washington has been afforded much playing time, but the athletic big-play artist still managed to rack up 63 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks in limited duty last season. Fast and explosive, Washington also proved to be a special teams standout, tying for the national lead with three blocked punts in 2007. Washington will need a big 2009 to justify this lofty preseason projection, but his eye-popping athleticism in this aggressive defense has scouts intrigued. - Rob Rang, The Sports Xchange, NFLDraftScout.com

projected round at this time: 3

He could be a nice midround pick. If Wade is still our coach next season, I can see this guy being a Donnie Edwards type of LB for us. Put him next to Jason Williams and our backup ILBs can flat out fly
