With Jerry back to when he bought the team.
Show him that Jimmy ran the football side and he ran the money side.
Building the brand.
Then come back to present times.
Maybe Jerry will do this....
Clean house.
No coach on the current staff has performed up to the ability of the players under their charge.
Let them all go - buyout. The Cowboys have the money.
Hire an outsider. Let this be a Wil McClay and Stephen hire.
Let the new coach interview, if he wants, any current coach and keep them.
Let him bring in his own coaches, like Jimmy did.
Keep Wil McClay in his position. After getting in agreement with the new coach adjust players as needed and draft accordingly.
Give the new coach a large voice in the players drafted.
The players are only answerable to the new coach and Wil McClay.
No Jones family involvement in the football operations.
Jerry's role - company spokes person.
Stephen's role - do the contracts and show as the next face of the Cowboys. Be in charge of the Stadium.
Charlotte. Keep doing what you're doing. You are the only person who over performs each year pimping a poor product and getting the fan base to buy.
Jerry Jr. Leave him in charge of the STAR. And the next great idea.
Note to Jerry: You've been protecting the brand and not building the football side the last 20 years.
The Cowboys have about 16% of the NFL fan base. Average football with teasers of how good the Cowboys could be every other year.
Imagine if they won another Super Bowl or two and went on another run.
20% of the NFL fans would be Cowboy fans.
Just my opinion looking back since being a Cowboys fan starting in 1963.
