I called Garrett out on this one, I said the GIants would win, i made posts in the game threads.

Not a great victory but as i posted before, a win is a win is a win and the NFL does NOT give them back

I thought it was a great victory

I'm glad we won a close game instead of a blow out.
A blow out would just mask our issues, we played okay but bad enough to warrant criticism..hopefully they celebrate during the weekend and
review film and review what they did wrong during the week.
We're now 4-0 in the division...

Good win and I'll take it but I'm not going to change my opinion of JG because of one game against a team that we are better than. I still don't have any confidence in JG in the playoffs or next season.

Neither will I, but its the heart of the Cowboys i thought was lacking and they stepped up today because these games are bigger than records and better than the history of the game, these games are paramount.

Today's game just confirmed that this team wins against teams with losing records. You can bet on it. They lose against teams with winning records and you can bet on that. The Giants are not a good team and the Cowboys did just what their past history suggested they would do.

Given that theory, we may not need the Philly game to wrap up the division. Chicago and GB are reeling ... though GB may get Rodgers back by the time we line up against them.

I think 3-2 over the next 5 games wraps up the division.

No problem. I was pessimistic too, but I had a feeling Dallas would win. Was it Jimmy Johnson that said "winning is a great deodorant?" This team still has flaws, still has major problems on defense, but are still tops in the NFC East. The Giants are essentially three games back now thanks to the Cowboys' sweep.

Hope the Eagles enjoyed their six day run as division leaders. I'll take wins like this every week, if that what it takes.

It is not a theory. The records against winning and losing teams were posted a while back.

Yep. Because those wins against sub .500 teams from 4 seasons ago really mean something today.

All that is correct but they were playing much better. Look at their defense since Beason arrived esp the last 4 games prior to this one. They'd given up only 5 TDs in the last four games. They were giving up an average of about 200 ypg passing and less than 55 rushing in three games and 107 in the other. So they haven't been a bad team the last four games.

High fives all around!

Where you at stasheroo.

7-5 headed to Chicago?

I'm here man, willing to take my medicine.

They surprised me with their resiliency.

Hopefully, they can build something off of this win!

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but that was a 4-6 team we beat out there today, and their 4 wins came against teams without starting QBs. Eli is a wreck this season.

I love beating the Giants as much as the next guy, but let's not blow out this one out of proportion.
