I think given the circumstances it was a great win. But I too will take my lumps. I didn't think the Cowboys would even keep it close.

I thought they'd lose since this was a revenge game for the Giants but I didn't think they'd get blown out.

I'm happy with the win but not any more hopeful with that performance. Two bad NFC East teams.

Great to beat the Giants, the fans are really deflated here and the local media is having a field day with their hubris.

I anticipated a bad result from Dallas. I am happy to be wrong. Until we drift out of the shadow of 8-8 I will continue to anticipate an up and down season but I am thrilled they won. Garrett deserves a ton of credit for going after the win instead of playing into a shell.

I called Garrett out on this one, I said the GIants would win, i made posts in the game threads.

Not a great victory but as i posted before, a win is a win is a win and the NFL does NOT give them back

Impressive win IMO, especially when Eli drove them down for the tie. On the road, cold and windy. I'll take it and still think 8-8 this year.

It cracks me up whenever people say "I'm glad I'm wrong". It's like talking out of both side of mouth. When they are right, they will gloat with "I told you so" comments, but when they are wrong, they will just say "I'm glad I'm wrong" as if their prediction meant nothing and like they really wished they were wrong, why make predictions if you really want to be wrong about it.

I pick the Cowboys ever week regardless of if I think we'll win or lose. Let this be a lesson to the OP.

This was a great win.

It was ugly. Sure.

But it's a great win.

You got what you wanted out of Romo and Dez to win that game. The game, even possibly the season, were on the line with that drive.

They delievered. That's great.

Then you should be one happy fellow! :D

PS: The devil made me do it.***Flip Wilson voice over*** :)

Oh, I definitely am.

It does nothing for me to be predicting gloom and doom, but if that what I see, that what I see.

I was impressed as I saw no quit in this team. After the Saints game, I was a bit worried about that.

Good win and nice to see some big-mouth Giants get shut up.

Hopefully, it's the start of something good.

considering we have all off season to deal with this nonsense, it's too bad the quitters don't just quit. go away, and come back in a February. save the apologies, just go away

I saw some good things, that if they continue going forward, could make us dangerous: Moving Dez, playing him out of the slot, Romo throwing quick slants to him, and trusting him in one on one situations. Also something that has been going on all season that hasn't been mentioned much is the mental toughness of our team. We haven't given up this year at all. In the past, if Eli had driven down to tie it up we would have rolled over, and we have. Last night we didn't. This is a good thing. If we can hold on until Lee gets back then we have a chance. He is a little fragile but he makes our defense a magnitude better than we are without him. Lee's problem is that he plays harder than his body can handle... that means his injuries are all effort related... Ill take that.

I would make a cautious effort to resign Hatcher. Maybe make it incentive based. He is a monster out there this year but again, I worry about great production suddenly in contract years. To be fair I don't really believe effort is an issue with Hatch (just a feeling I get) where I've always wondered about the Rat. Still, we've been burned too much recently to just give him a huge unrestricted contract.. Keep him but with strings attached. I have other thoughts but this might not be the thread to post them. Sorry if I've hijacked the thread.
