That was a completely b.s. call if memory serves correctly.

I dont believe it was bogus. I remember him doing it thinking that it would get called and it did.

I think the grounding call yesterday was BS as well. I think the rush caused Romo to rush the throw and the ball slipped out of his hand. I think that was his argument after the fact. It just seemed to come out of his hand funny. Anybody have footage?

Nope. He didnt get it back to LOS. He didnt get it in the "vicinity" of LOS.

It was. Romo threw the ball about 30 yards down the field and it landed out of bounds, but it was called intentional grounding. That whole game was a mess. With us and the refs.

Like I've said before, it seems like the Giants always get the benefit of the doubt with the refs.

.

So if the ball is tipped and doesnt make the line of scrimmage it is grounding? I think when the Qb is trying to throw the ball and leaves his hand in an un-natural motion should be given same benefit of the doubt. But I could have just seen it wrong thought it left the side of his hand.

I was a bit pissed when they called that as well, but looking back, the only person to blame here is Romo. If he had just had the awareness to throw the ball beyond the LOS, we wouldn't be talking about this.

It's not a big deal to me, though. Romo played well enough to ingore what few errors he made, and on a list of who and/or what caused this team to crater in the Meadowlands, the intentional grounding call was way down on that list.

Romo does that too often for my liking.

He does it in big spots, in big games.

He did against the Giants in the 2007 playoff game TOO!!!

The NFL apologized to the Cowboys for mistakenly calling that an intentional grounding after the 2007 playoff game.
