Seems like we're mostly either Dak haters or Dak Lovers. I don't think Dak is worth $40 million, in fact, I don't think anyone is, BUT!!!!! I am a fan of team football and I think Dak is the ultimate team QB. MM will use him right and Sunday afternoons will be glorious for all Cowboys fans!!! As long as you have a good Gameday menu!! Here's the thing for me, no matter what he gets paid, with Mahomes you never feel like you are out of the game, i can say i don't feel that way about Dak, and that gets me back to what i have said for 4 years, he is good enough to manage things if everything around him is good and the talent is great. But i don't think he can take a team (any team) and carry them on his back the way a Mahomes can or a Brees can or a Brady can or a Rodgers can. It's not about hate it's about his skillset....at least for me and as far as his skillset is concerned had i been the Cowboys i would have had taken much more advantage of his legs when he was younger, he is at an age now where if he were to run alot he would start getting hurt.

I am Dak realists.... History has shown that free agent QBs with Dak's Metrics deserve Market Value....whatever it is $26M, $33M or $40M! Anything else is hating.

All this Cap hand wringing is a great PR move developed by cheap owners and Lazy GMs.

Now if Tua (or Burrows) somehow fall to 17th pick then I am also talent realist. You take the QB and groom him behind Dak, if Dak era fails we are at least set up for possible QB transition.

This "lover" and "hater" thing is so overblown and overused. Being a fan of a player doesn't make someone a "lover", which is typically used to suggest the fan has blinders on, nor does having questions about a player mean a fan is a "hater" with blinders on.

That's not to say there aren't those who are extremists that see things as all one way or the other, but those are the folks that should be ignored in the discussion because reasonable discussion can't occur with folks like that.

Up until last year he had a lot of 4th quarter comebacks. This I was a strange year for this team. He throws for 1000 more yards than last year. 8 more TDs and only 3 more picks. Had the #1 Offense in the NFL. And couldn’t make the playoffs at 9-7. Lol. Finished at 8-8. I have never heard of that. Ever. I can’t blame it all on Dak. But at the end of the day he and the HC gets credit for the wins and blame for the losses.

It's the internet. Extremists tend to be the ones making the most noise, a vocal minority both pro and con.
