Triple Amen.

Win the next two and they will have to move on to a new crutch to label romo and the cowboys with.

No doubt about it. For everything this team accomplishes, there will be something to hold up in front of them and tell them they havent done.

Until Dallas does something to change it, it will be what it will be.

Let me guess...You are watching the NFLN.
That plus the past few days of media on the Cowboys.

The ink wasn't even cold on the Oakland game and folks began doom and glooming about December.

Truthfully, it was hard to simply enjoy the season, the ups and downs, because so many folks were focused on December.

Can't worry about December until December gets here. And now that December is here, it's not about focusing on the Giants, it's about December in its entirety.

Only thing the team can do is play the games. It's not like they can wave a magic wand and come out with a winning record.

Were not even playing today, yet were still a main topic of discussion on the shows. I love it.

have we really been that bad in december, i mean if you count the pre-romo years you're including a bad three to four year stretch of awful cowboy teams that would finish the year 5-11. You would have to admit that those teams weren't very good to begin with, so asking them to win in any month was a stretch. Since Tony Romo has taken over, we're 5-8 in december. Not necessarily good, but not as bad when you take out all those other campo led teams. If we do well this december, you could make an argument that TR has helped reverse the trend, and forget this whole problem ever existed.

Marshall Faulk has gotten to where he literally only says one word about the Cowboys when they talk about us - "December."

I have no idea how you guys can watch that show.

faulk is never going to like romo, he blew him off for an interview before the ravens game last year.

Wait till we play the saints. the whole network will be out for blood.

The last few seasons we were given the benefit of the doubt, by media and fans. Everyone wants to see it this year, me included. But the defense does have me a lot more optimistic than I was at the beginning of the year.

Honestly when I first saw the schedule I was dreading December, but after watching this defense improve I am excited about the upcoming games. Right now I don't want the media on the Cowboy bandwagon. I want the boys to have an us against the world mentality.

I vote for a salary increase for WoodysGirl. Baby sitting is much harder than it looks. :)

That's an illusion. The media has had very little faith in this franchise for decades. Heck, during the 90's back-to-back Super Bowl seasons, the media favored Buffalo over Dallas both times.

Fans? Fans outside of cowboyszone have doubted what Dallas could have accomplished over practically the same length of time almost as much as some of Dallas' own fans. The "benefit of the doubt" hasn't been evident.

Who wants to see it this year? Granted, you do. I do too. You can also throw in many fans who call the Cowboys as their team, but "everyone" falls way short of its meaning beyond that. The media only cares for any controversy it can squeeze out of the team. The networks care only about the ratings that the team brings in, which are usually higher than what they receive from other teams.

It is as it always has been. The Cowboys faithful are the only ones who believe in its team and wish to see it return to Super Bowl glory.

Nah the media had anointed us the past few years. They may love controversy but they love ratings more, so if you get both at the same time it's just gravy. Now that we are struggling while not pile on just brings more ratings. Boys fans watch because that's what we do, other fans like to see us get bashed so you get both. Some of us are blind homers, us vs the media, some are extreme pessimist. I kinda find myself in the middle, when they are doing good it's Superbowl baby!!! When they throw out a stinker, it's here we go again. I am a optimistic, show me kinda guy.

This is probably the stupidest, lamest kind of insult there is. Seeing a pattern and making completely assinine predictions from it. Ranks right there in the nursery school category of 'you make me mad, I don't like you'.

And its the media who fuel this kind of thinking. It's like they see a pattern and start picking snot out of their noses looking for things to justify their ill-informed opinions.

First, it was Peyton the choker. Then his brother. Then the Giants when they kept 'choking' the second half of the season. Now its Dallas' turn. Romo or Dallas can't win a playoff game. Its been so many consecutive years, blah, blah, blah...Another december blowout? Blah, blah, blah.... Philly also gets clubbed every year with its empty trophy case. If the media gets whiff of a pattern, watch out. Dunce cap goes on, common sense goes out the door.

Yes, its aggravating. But no more aggravating to me than having to swat at flies at a picnic.

Because patterns inevitably change. Like the weather. Peyton and his brother did get their super bowls. Philly will eventually. Romo will continue to improve and lead Dallas to one. Will it be this year? I don't know. But there are signs this team is on the right track and that a pattern change is acomin'.

Then the talk will stop, until another pattern emerges for some other poor team. That's journalism today. Like a bad reality show. Just don't watch it.
