I'm Bored... Carp, Fergie, Vandy are Bandits!

Even though it's a new role, you would expect a 1st rounder to be able to beat out Akin Ayodele. Maybe Bill should have switched him sooner? Eitherway, yup, Carpenter has been disappointing. He may eventually win out, and I'm hoping he does it be the end of the year, but I always though Wimbley and Lawson were the better draft picks. Never draft a white guy in the 1st round not named Urlacher. (Yes, that was a joke, you don't have to get offended by it unless you choose so. ;) )

Lawson would we riding the pine to behind Ellis and would be making a transition to OLB so how would that be any different than drafting carp

And your crystal ball is where? ;)

Wimbley #1
Lawson #2
Carpenter #3

I thought the Boys should have traded down or gone after someone else if Wimbley wasn't available. Not sure I would have been for a trade-up if it cost too much, but as the draft appraoched, it became obvious Wimbley was the best NFL talent.

With the way Ellis is playing that is how. If Ellis was not doing well then you have something but then again if Ellis was playing bad we would most likely see Carp there. So you guys think drafting another player would just make the current play by Ellis irrelevant.
