Time to root for a team with heart and attitude. Can't believe I'm considering rooting for a new team. That's what Jerry Jones Jason Garrett and Tony Romo have done. Never thought that day would ever come. I've loved this team since I was a child the star the way they carried themselves the dominance. But now it's just embarrassing.

When was the last time this team beat a team with a winning record? And 2-5 on the road? Good lord? Your best player is gonna barely break 1000 yards receiving? But hey Romo is having his best statistical season!!

You give a player who is always injured a huge extension yet people are afraid to sign Hatch to a long term deal when the guy has been the most consistent player on the team? I think some have their priorities wrong here. I will take 22 hatchers over 22 Lees each and every Sunday.

I can't recall ever being this angry ever. Really to the point I don't even want to watch them anymore? To the point of becoming a bandwagon fan of the Seahawks because I admire how they play? Sucks what those 3 bozos have done to the fans of this team.

Tony Romo? He's the only reason the team has a chance each week.

Tony Romo is a major problem with this team. They are terrible on the money down. He doesn't have the makeup to will his team to victories. How often Have you seen a Manning, Brady,Rodgers, Bree's led team get embarrassed on national TV? You don't because they don't allow it. They have that cocky confidence that it's my way or get off the field. You don't hear it's a "process" or we gotta play better. That's the garbage we hear all the time from Romo. How many times has those guys been out played by lesser QBs like Romo? I mean when is enough enough? How often do those guys take their best Weapon out of the game? They don't! They get them the ball! Romo does not. Yeah he plays nice puts up pretty stats in spurts but he isn't a QB that will go on a 7-9 game win streak to win a Championship

Every quarterback you mentioned had a team that stepped up to get it done. Especially Manning and Brady.

The point is those QBs wouldn't settle for anything else then a team that played their hearts out. Look at GB without AR. They have been hot garbage that will probably beat the snot out of this weak minded team. Romo is a nice QB who needs great oline great defense great special teams WRs that need to be wide open and a BFF for a TE. He's pretty high maintenance. Turn your best playmaker into nothing on the field. How often does Brady Manning and Bree's and Rodgers do that?

Jerry Jones has now constructed the worst defense in NFL history. The man is an anchor dragging the USS Dallas Cowboys further into the depths of mediocrity.

What I saw tonight was pathetic. There was and is no way this team would've won tonight with the defense this man has put together.

I'll watch every game and see what transpires but I'm done letting this team trick me into thinking it's turned the corner or that this year might be different.

I should've known better. Jerry Jones is still the GM after all.

Welcome to the dark side.....

Tony Romo has played and played well behind poor offensive lines and without a decent run game for the majority of his career. He's made a name for himself by turning nothing into something and avoiding pressure.

Tony Romo's problem is that he's been stuck with Garrett for most of his career.

Exactly..................when the defense can force a punt, then we will talk about Romo..............until then its a moot point.

I feel you. But I couldn't root for any other team. It wouldn't feel right. I've spent years learning everything there is to know about this franchise. There's no going back. It is what it is. I should outlive Jerry. And all these times of struggle, are going to make the future times of triumph even sweeter.

Can't argue with any of that. Other than rooting for another team. I'll cheer for the Texans as I live here now, and I've always gone Cowboys first, any Texas team second as a policy.

But when you are so die hard that you are so emotionally vested in the games that you have to drink to calm your nerves and keep your hands from shaking, like I used to (and that was my mid 20s btw. 33 now and I have accepted things once again)- sometimes it's good to turn that **** off. Jerry will suck you into the hope cycle and never let you out.

Being only 22 years old..and born in 1991...i feel cheated...i was alive for the glory years but was too young to remember them. The first cowboy game i can even faintly remember was us losing to the Panthers in the 1996 playoffs. The team lacks so much...and it burns and pains me to watch other teams put the pieces together and compete. Certain teams' fans know that even if they dont win the super bowl they will compete. Us cowboys fans almost expect mediocrity, 8-8 is almost normal for us, during the current era, not historically. I will never give up on my team and will always hold out hope. Maybe we are cursed...idk...

Amen. Let's judge him once he doesn't have to score a TD on every drive just to keep up. Let's get a defense and shore up the interior o line (and RT IMO). I'm not even trying to give him a head start, I'll be happy to let him have use the offense we have this minute including the elite "Miles 'the ghost' Austin".

I bet we would actually be a team with a shot at the Super Bowl if that were the case

12-4 lol Jerry really got you this year. No worries, he got me too.

We need massive overhaul. Let romo go to a contender. Lets find a OC with a good playbook that can get dez the ball. Find our qb for the long haul. And of course fix the defense while adding good young talent on both sides

You forgot the fairy dust to sprinkle coz that's the only way it's going to happen with our incumbent GM.

I think you'll find that what you talk about is mostly down to the coaching and the GM.

What's Romo got to do with the poor drafting these last 10 + years or the flip flopping in defensive scheme?

I certainly don't wish that either. After all, I'm just a spectator of a game, run by a crazy man.

Problem is, I was attached to this team before he came about. It's like forming a bond with a kid that isn't yours, only to see that woman meet another man who mistreats that kid. I don't really have any skin in the game, but I can't stand to see the abuse to something I'm so attached to.

With that said, drink up this Holiday Jerry, drink up lots..
