I'm done with the Witten Era

This 2 te dominated passing offense under carrot top has gone nowhere for 10 yrs. The tes havent been good enough to beat anybody in 6+ years. We need to use more 10 personnell and 2 rb sets on passing downs and keep drafting tes until we get somebody worthy.

This is the 5th straight yr ive been preaching to abolish the 2 te dominated passing offense. How can you build a scheme around 2 tes who cant score against anybody except the giants skins and eagles during blowout games

Maybe if we can get a bruising and crushing fullback in free agency, the TE experiment will end.

We need to go 4-5 wide with cooper gallop austin cobb and zeke and substitute in some tony pollard and eliminate some of te passing snaps. We dont need 2 tes on any passing plays whatsoever. Thats ignorant when you got a scrub te core. Why is jarwin and witten dominating passing snaps when they dont win games that way? Ask carrot top that?

When your everydown passing te has 2 tds in 11 games. One for 3 yards against Washington and one for 5 yards against the giants. And your fan base and commentators is accepting of that youre gonna have scoring problems. Its the law of avgs if you march with non scorers youre gonna score less points. Tell linehan and moore this please. That te dominated snapcount scheme comes from the front office. Trying to be gronk/hernandez with guys like hanna and escobar

I think he’s hitting the equivalent of the rookie wall. Makes sense considering his age and being out of football for a year. His blocking hasn’t been good past few weeks. They need to reduce his snaps if they want him to be more effective in the last months of the season.

Witten has sucked for years. The way this team plays favorites with him is maddening. He can’t block a junior high player. What a waste of snaps.

It is sad watching him out there, everyone else is running at top speed and he looks like he is running in sand. Cant break tackles either, goes down constantly from guys he has 50lbs on. Do the organization a favor and retire already.

He's done. Love him, but he can't play anywhere near the level he used to. No longer has the strength to block affectively either, but the big thing is dropping passes. They realy really hurt today.

The fact that he is playing all these snaps is a microsm of what is wrong with the team as a whole. A while back we purged. Got cheaper and younger, drafted well and a got a lot better quickly. Then we think we are just "a player away". Start extending everyone to max contracts and welcome back a fossil. Our team got much older and much less hungry overnight.

this is the type of game where you need a Tight End to alleviate the passing game in horrible conditions...relying on WR and throwing it downfield was always going to be incredibly difficult thing to do in this weather. Stupid decision not to upgrade the position for the past two-three years.

The guy had a bad game but it's not like jarwin was lighting it up either. 3 for 17. The passing game as a whole wasn't great, know what was good the running game we abandoned.
