He's jealous of their success?? What success? We have not won a playoff game since 96.

But I will agree him and Joe Buck will go out of their way to criticize the Cowboys much more than the other teams.

AIKMAN SAID THAT RYAN SHOULDNT HAVE EVEN BEEN IN THE GAME WHEN THEY WERE LOSING BY 16 AND TRYING TO SCORE! HOW STUPID WAS THAT?

Wow. The Falcons were NOT GOING TO WIN. Let me ask you this: What if Ryan gets tackled and tears an ACL and is out for the year because he was on the field when the game was clearly out of reach? The Cowboys were spankin the kid all day.

I remember losing a player for the season in a similar situation: Joey Galloway. He was never the same player after that injury. It basically wiped out the entire value of that trade.

I hate Aikman too, but not because he hates the Cowboys. He's just the biggest blowhard announcer ever. Every time he opens his mouth, pointless crap spews out, and he does it in that nasally, whiny voice. So annoying.

I agree with you 100% about Troy Aikman.

You have to be an idiot or in La La land to have not noticed for years that Troy Aikman who is so much different than Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith when it comes to showing passion and love about the cowboys. Routinely, he criticizes the cowboys as if he is dumb. It’s an insult as a cowboys fan to hear one of the all time greats routinely criticizes the dumbest things on the cowboys ever since he was given the gig on Fox. When was the last time, in 10 years have you all seen him down on the field cheering like Smith, Irvin, etc

Come on people. If one of us was bashing the cowboys all the time, you all would running your mouth too. I AGREE...Troy Aikman is a hater!!! Period...

If you mean by "hater", professional and impartial towards his ex-team than so be it. Frankly, I don't detect an ounce of hatred from him towards the Cowboys.

Aikman was calling Jenkins out for the big hit. And then it turns out Aikman was wrong and didn't even know the rule. No apology from Aikman. Shut up and go away Aikman!

Aikman gives away a potential sneak play. Romo was out wide and Choice was in the wildcat. Aikman decides to alert everyone that Romo was going to come back and get the ball from Choice and throw it. Sut up and go away Aikman.

I think Aikman is jealous of any Cowboy success without him. I'm sure Aikman is jealous of Romo and doesn't want the Cowboys to succeed without him.

The problem is Cowboys fans want Aikman to be Cowboys fan or homer. Irvin is one, but he does it in a very clear way, i..e you know he is being a homer, and he doesn't pretend not to be a homer.

Aikman is not that. He has more responsiblity since he is Fox's No. 1 commentator. He has to be as objective as possible.

The problem is We fan's are myopic and want to only see Cowboys point of view and every call that goes against Cowboys is conspiracy etc. Aikman doesn't.

But if you hear him on Ticket interiviews ( here dallas locally on Thursday at 7.50 AM or so), you would know he is a fan of Cowboys, especially Romo. He defends Romo to a fault almost. He does get on Romo occasionally, but in a very constructive way.

So, its really foolish of fans to think Aikman is Anti-Cowboys. Its funny around the league from other team fans that he is Pro-cowboys. Like I said, Fans are myopic, and tend to view things very narrowly.

I love Aikman and Moose they have been great in the booth. I like that they are not Homers. To many fans go over the top on that stuff because he is not all Cowboy all the time. Which is not what i want from a guy and agenda one way or the other.

I find it funny that fans call other guys agenda driven and cry about it and then turn around and crucify the guy that is one of the best at not having a certain agenda against a certain team.

I agree Troy and Moose are not part of the Cowboys Broadcasting system they are in the booth to do a job and I think they do it very well. No matter the game they cover on any given sunday they give their views of what is going on where mistakes may have been made and where positives need to be pointed out. I think Troy and Moose were proud to be members of this team when they played now they have a responsiblity to FOX in giving their honest and non bias opinions when covering a game. This is why Troy is part of the #1 crew and Moose the #2 crew for FOX

He's a great commentator but def has a ego problem w tony. Come on he finds any reason to rant on him and it gets to the point where it is just petty.

It seems to me that Aikman has complemented Romo a TON in the past. The only time he gives him a hard time is when he starts turning it over a lot. You need to look back at some the old tape. Very early on, Aikman was saying "this kid is going to be special". He has been very flattering on Romo.

The people who have a hard time with Aikman's commentary arte those that can't ever hear anythng negative or objective about the 'Boys. I admit that he seems to prop up the Giants a lot--probably has always done so as to not seem to much of a Dallas homer. So he may overdo it at times.

Aikman QB's 3 Superbowl champs and is a HOFer....he is not jealous of anyone.

aikman is alright but his comment that booker was a "defenseless player" after he had already taken 3-4 steps was ridiculous.

They get stuff wrong sometimes it happens I like Chris Collinsworth but I seen him jack some stuff up in the both; all of them do it.

Then again I realize they are human and not perfect; just like the players are not perfect
