I swear that some posters on this board have the football insight and maturity level of a 12 year old.

Yea, a Hall of Famer with 3 SB Rings, and millions of dollars and a real job after football and all kinds of investments is just eaten up with jealousy.

Uh huh. Makes sense to me.

HATES the Cowboys, because he actually is objective about the game?

In the immortal words of Barney Fife, "he's a nut"

Sorry, but I'll never get tired of a guy that won 3 super bowls for us, turned around the franchise the second he was drafted, played huge in big games, had no ego whatsoever, cared only about wins and played the game on and off the field the right way.

He tries hard to not appear to be a "homer" and be impartial...so what? He takes his broadcasting almost as serious as he took his weekly meetings, practices and game days.

Exactly David. It's called "professionalism". It's what Aikman practiced as a QB and it is what he tries to practice as a broadcaster. If you don't like his broadcasting, I'm fine with that, but at least understand what the guy is trying to do.

I personally enjoy his commentary. But what I will always appreciate about the guy is that he is a pro's pro at just about everything he does.

Aikman is class. Always the professional.

I've never seen a hint of the crap you get with Deion.

In the past five years...Irvin and Aiman have been leading the 90's Cowboys contingency. Then the Moose and Woodsen...maybe Nate...then far back is the hack Deion.

If you talk about a guy who CAN be vindictive at times, carry a grudge and be petty, that is Deion. I honestly don't get it either because the guy has so much personality and could be so likable. He also was a great, great talent.

I agree while Mr.Aikman is an great announcer and tries to be as objective as possible. I feel that sometimes he seems to take it to far. Perhaps he's not even aware of it.
