Whether or not Mangold is superior to Gurode is a moot point. Whinyboy's point was that we "needed" a center in the draft. While that may or may not have been the case, we "needed" help in other areas as well. IMO center wasn't even the most addressable position on th OL (RG).
Apparently, Whinyboy has forgotten that, at the time, we desperately needed help at OLB. No one had the foresight to know how the Ellis situation was going to work out.
The fact that Gurode has been playing good footbal escaping whinyboy's assessment comes to no surprise, and is just icing on this crybaby's cake.
