I've said it many times...

Jacksonville's a different team at home.

They're average on the road.

I agree, but any rumor of their demise has been grossly exaggerated.

The Skins still look like a team that can challenge this division...barring injury, they're only going to get better week to week with a new OC and that WR corps.

They manhandled the Jax defense, and I'm really getting sick of Cartwright and that freakin' Skins kick return team...I think we should be taking notes.

Their defense was horribly overrated

I think today just showed how important clinton portis really is to this team. He is basiclly the heart of this offense

Clearly, but it got part of its rating by controlling us...and the Skins' offense has been clearly underrated, imo.

Santana Moss has truly become a star in Washington, and Portis changes that entire offense.

No worries I says!

Deadskin don't scares me much of none. We beat them handelly once already and Portis didn't not run all roughshod like neither.

We beats on them again even worst the next times we sees them in the standings and leave them fowl freaks at Exxtremeskins crying in their lonely chairs on internet message boards and wacking to the fueltility of it all after another good drubbing by our 'Boys.

I laughs with thoughtings of the glorios glee yet to come.

I hope that Jax game doesn't come back to haunt us. Common opponents is one of the tie-breakers and the Skins have beat them. We were in position to beat Jax on the road, but blew it. Of course if we go on to sweep Wash, it probably won't matter that we lost to Jax.

uh, beating the Skins gives us an even bigger advantage, beat them again, and the Jax game is moot

Right, so by your logic, since that overrated D held us to 17 points, 14 first downs, and 88 net yards rushing despite the fact they were playing with a gimpy Marcus Stroud, then our offense must be horrible.

The Commanders installed a new offense and it has taken them a little while (and a healthy Portis) to adjust to the new scheme. But it looks like they are improving.

Washington's defense is overrated, not Jacksonville's

How does beating the Skins the first time give us that much more credibility over them in the first place? We were fully healthy and we played them when they were without their best offensive weapon and their best CB.
They get Portis back and not coincidentally blow out a much-ballyhooed JAX D that held us to 17 points, 14 1st downs, and 88 rushing yards. WAS beat the Jags which we couldn't do when they had Marcus Stroud limping around.

Funny how people were saying it was understandable that we lost to JAX as they were one of the better teams in the league, then when WAS beats them, JAX is described as actually overrated. WAS gets no credit at all. Such homerism and blatant hypocrisy is pathetic. I'll believe we're that much better than the Skins are if while healthy we play better than they do when they're healthy and especially if/when we empty the Skins of their souls on Nov. 5.

i mean, we will see. to be honest, I dont think our defense played that bad today. Even though we gave up 30 points, i thought it was a good showing. We caused some 3 and outs, and actually got pressure on the QB(which seemed to rattle leftwhich a little bit)

i know out pass D still isnt that good, but I think its improving. Even rumph and wright had a few good plays today
