Although it took me many hours.....and tears to come to this state of mind I'm very pleased with my new out look on that game. We don't suck when it comes to the amount of talent we have it's the teams perception of other teams that suck. In august everyone was talking Superbowl, Hard knocks was there talking Superbowl even BSPN was talking of a cowboy superbowl. I'm not one of those guys who tries to guest what a player was thinking at a particular time but I'm pretty positive after the eagles win the cowboys thought no one can touch them. It's a good thing we caught that brutal beaten by one of the worst teams in the NFL because it sent a strong message to us that said in big bold letters YOU'RE NOT AS GOOD AS YOU THINK!!!!! I hate bringing examples from this team because I curse each player on this team very existence but my awesome wife came up with a very good point in an effort to cheer me up "the Giants had it hard the whole way. They stayed anxious through out the whole season. therefore they never got comfortable but constantly stayed in survival mode." (I love when women talk football) The Giants scratched and clawed there way to a championship because unlike the cowboys they knew it wasn't going to be handed to them. I read allot of what you people say and if you think MY cowboys are gonna rollover the rest of the season after three losses then I'm correct in my phrasing when I said MY cowboys because to call yourself a true fan isn't being blind to the obvious or giving up on the team it's having faith that no matter if your team is the worst team the NFL has ever seen your in front of the TV every sunday rooting for them like they are playing in the superbowl. Sorry for the long post as pointless as it may be I had to get it off my chest.

There is a little something to being "under the radar," but 34-14 to the Rams is unacceptable.

I'm never glad with a loss. There is simply no way in my mind that I can ever justify a loss as ever being good, in any way.

i understand that a loss is a horrible thing but i feel that you can learn aloot from a but whipping. when you got spanked for doing something wrong hopefully you learn not to do it again right? another loss may happen but my point is that I hope they learned from this and can move on

The Giants didn't have TO.

No surprise that the Cowboys meltdown began when he started whining again. There's a reason Eagles fans hate the guy. Damn good reason, and Cowboy fans are going to see it first hand.

Actually the meltdown started with the Oline.

It then went to the defense that could not hold up its share when the Offense was underperforming.

TO doesn't have anything to do with this other than the fact that he is not getting open against double teams. If he does Romo has already let it go or can't get it to him because of the Oline.

I respect your opinon but man I don't believe that T.O. is the same T.O. from philly and Sanfran. I know he made those comments but what did he really say? I want to help win. the loss to the Commanders a rival really got to him emotions flared. I'm not trying to take up for him but you only hear what he said but not why he said it. didn't he clear it up on his radio show a few days later?

Not really-if anything, he's the least of our problems now.(his comments weren't anything major after the Skins loss, and he hasn't said a peep since)

We were lucky to be 13-3 last year with all the breaks we got like opponents with bad QBs, significant injuries, bad coaches, and the lucky bounces of the ball. We're not getting any of that this year, and our weaknesses that weren't talked about last year(b/c of all the winning) are getting exposed this year.

BTW-you guys have a pretty darn good team this year. With Garcia taking snaps under center, that team is fun to watch.

I am definitely not glad we lost. It would have been a good statement if we could have gutted out a win, played good defense and played hard nosed football without Romo.

This loss has brought us close to meltdown and if Romo is not able to play I am afraid we will meltdown unless this defense has something else to rally around.

I don't see it right now. I hope they surprise me.

I don't buy this line of thinking at all.

They barely beat the Eagles, who have already lost 3 games. It's not like they beat the '85 Bears.

They got manhandled by the Skins. We were fortunate to even have the onsides kick chance at the end.

They were a lucky deflected pass away from having to sweat it out in the final 2 minutes against the Bengals, who probably are the worst team in the league, excepting maybe Detroit.

And then needed an epic comeback to get the AZ game to overtime.

If this team hadn't realized the situation they were in before the Rams game, then a loss to the hapless Rams won't change anything.

What happens after a loss this Sunday? Will the players really get it then?

Dude. It's not that we lost it's HOW we lost. The score is just a by-product of elite suck. .........and we're damn good at it too.

Yeah, the media has had a way of getting TO to do/say stupid things. Took a few weeks in SF and Philly, but they kept after him. My advice? Keep TO under lock and key and only let him out for the games.

Garcia's alright. We're about defense though. Our fans crave defense. And now that, for the first time in forever, we are able to effectively stop the run.... the Bucs fan base is excited. Chris Hovan and Jovan Haye are playing lights out football.

You mean you're glad we got blown out by the worst team in the league that was short-handed to boot, and just fired its HC recently?

That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. I know it's Any Given Sunday and anything can happen, but if the pathetic Rams D was able to harrass us, while the pathetic Rams O was able to run roughshot on us with BASIC plays...what makes you think Jon Gruden, Jeff Garcia, and our ex-guys like Joey Galloway and Antonio Bryant won't be salivating at the mouth right now?
