I am finding myself getting too caught up into the Boys again. I know this because of how I feel right now.

All they are is my favorite sports team, they do not do a thing for me.

This was another total team and organization loss. Everybody is to blame.
We have a very good defense and offense, we should not be afraid to get into shootouts if that is what it takes to win games. We should not be afraidn to gamble if that is what it takes.
This conservative approach is played out. Yes run the ball and play ball control, when you have the game won for sure.

But save all that for the post season games.
Parcells and Payton, should have pulled Bledsoe to the side, " and said look you are being greedy, Key was open for a first down, but you went for greed to get it to Glenn.

Those guys was rolling their coverage to Glenn all game, he always had 2 men watching and covering him.

Witten , Key, and Price were singled up and could have won all day, as well as the RBs. We can be aggressive by completing 5yds to 10 yd completions and kept the chains moving all day. The running game was working fine, Barber as I have said all along is a very good RB, he is very polished, and well rounded, he can be a feature back also.

Winning on the underneath pass routes would have made them change their scheme and then we could have hit them over the top for big yardage. It was evident that they were not going to let Glenn beat them deep.

Our defense had them in check all day, I believe they may have started to get tired at the end, as both defenses may have been, but we got into this lull and our coaches did not try to snap us out of it.

Holmgren snapped his team out of that lull at the end with the change of pace on offense, but we just kept plugging along.

You cannot always leave it to the defense, sometimes the best defense is offense.

We have a very good Defense, and if our offense had started clicking with some intensity, it would have made our defense play with even more energy and WARE would have his streak intact.

Man, I cannot stand this conservative play. Aggressiveness can and could have helped the play of our young Tackles, inspiring them to play at a higher level, get them in a groove, momentum to carry on into future games.

Excellent post..........

It is very obvious the conservative play calling has not worked.......So I say attack.......whats the difference we seem to make more mistakes when we go that route. Our best game of the season what did we do?.......We attacked and we dictated to Philly how the game was going to be played..our terms not theirs.

Good Post dawg!!!

Especially this:

I am finding myself getting too caught up into the Boys again. I know this because of how I feel right now.

Realized this a couple of months ago. No more swollen hands from punching walls when Quincy, Vinny or any scrub taking snaps throws a pick :).

True true. and Thanks

Right now, I do not know what to do honestly. I would go running but we have a little cold front and I do not feel like being in that cold, but may be it will help.

Hahaha, read my mind.

I wanted to go run too, but for one, it gets dark early now and it was a lil too chilly to go hit the track at the park.

Ain't that the truth bro?

I live and die with this team. I really don't want to go to work tomorrow. My only solace is that the only Eagles fan at work was canned on Friday so i don't have to face him.

I'm with you guys I not only cried after the loss to the 49ers in 81, but games before and after that also. Had fights because of the Boys losses.

Now, I'll have my mother-in-law calling me again. She and her boyfriend have been calling me every since the Commanders beat the Boys.

I had a 2 week break because the skins have lost. But guess what they called me today to brag about the 52 points that the skins put up.

Those fans up there will be running rampant, I feel for one of my friends he will not hear the end of it until the skins lose again and lose to us the second game.

From my experience of being stationed up there until we beat them again those fans will brag, even if they lose to someone else they will brag how they put up 52 points on the 9ers and we had a hard time winning that game.

which brings me to this question. Why is it hard for us to beat other teams at times and the eagles, skins and giants come along and just blow those teams out?

eagles and skins blew out the 9ers, and I'm willing to bet that the giants blow them out also.

But yet we blow out the eagles and we beat the giants and we beat the skins for what 58 minutes.

Somebody help me, understand, Please!!!!!!!

There is a saying that me and boy Mac, use to say when we were still active duty military.

We use to say that you have to have that inner strength, you have to have that "IT"
to be a Cowboys fan. Because a True Cowboys fan will stand by their team thru thcik and thin, as we know our Boys will take you to the highest of highs and to the lowest of lows.
Everybody cannot be a Cowboys fan.

Get Caller ID man and don't answer the phone.

A lot of factors go into one team blowing a team out and another team barely squeaking by. Anyone who can't see how conservative we are playing is simply myopic.

Against Philly Parcells was agressive. Going for it early on 4th and goal. Throwing over the middle against a good secondary.

For whatever reason he doesn't think this team is an aggressive team on the whole and I simply disagree with him. Playing conservative on both sides of the ball simply freezes this team. But if you let them peel their ears back and come they play as good as any team in the league.

He needs to take the brakes off. Plain and simple.

Mother-in-law is a wise woman. haha

I wont brag about the Commanders game today. I stated a long time ago that I dont expect any of the NFCE teams to lose to SF. Although I am sure many Commanders fans will take the win today as an accomplishment.

Actually you should take it as an accomplishment. No matter how bad a team is, 52 points is a boost. Forget it was San Francisc and a rookie QB. That was an NFL team and you put a half century mark on them.

I feel the same way about Gibbs and the Commanders. Unleash them and see what happens. Andy Reid and the Eagles are really the only team in the division that plays an aggressive offense. Do Gibbs, Parcells, and Coughlin not realize that the rules favor the offense ?

Frustrating.

You think we can get a pass to go have an intervention with BP?

Fair enough even Vegas gave the Commanders one of the most insane lines for an NFL game. I thought for sure it would be a 21-14 game. 52 is impressive, but I need some consistency.

You know it is hilarious talking to them to, because they go all the way back to Sonny J, and Billy Kilmer days talking about wins.

I try to keep them here in the present, but they just trot on back down memory lane. LOL

haha, oh man. I know the feeling. My brother is a stinkin' Packers fan and he talks more smack than anyone I know.

Today the Cowboys lost a close one. It is frustrating to see your team lose, but in this division anything is possible.

The future of this division makes me nervous.

You know this was the first week Bledsoe seemed to revert to the Bledsoe that the league knows. The guy looking for the big play and ending up costing his team instead.

One of the announcers said he had 200 tickets for family and friends there. Think that might have had something to do with it?

intersting, junk i think you are onto something here

Nope. Been drunk 1 time in my life. I was 6 and patrons of my parent's bar were giving me sips of beer. I have no memory of this. Have not even had a taste since I was 14 and then only because there was no water.
