I'm gonna keep asking this question

It sucks to be in this spot but we are. We all knew that if Tony went down, we would be in this predicament. Many of us wanted a QB via FA, or even in the draft for this exact reason. So here's the question I've been asking everyone.

Would you rather lose with someone you don't know you're going to lose with? Or, lose with someone you know is always gonna lose?

Regardless of the excuse, or the reasoning, BW never wins. It might not be fair, it might not be his fault, but it's 100% factual.

Good question, we all already know Weeden is a turd and will continue to be a turd no matter how much Jerry pumps him up. I'm hoping Cassel takes the reigns sooner than later; his career record and stats at least show that he is serviceable even more so in comparison to Weeden.

I don't know if some had their way Romo would be gone as well. Teams win games, Weeden did what was asked of him coaches need to open things up more than they did. As for the question of do you go with what you don't know? Coaches see these guys every day, because fans do not see players during the week means nothing, coaches go by what they see not what fans saying well I have never seen him lets try this. Damn come on.

I would rather have hope if that answers your question. And right now with Weeds there is none. All of our hope is 7 games away now........

Can't answer the question? Are you really comparing Tony with BW. Seems like we should be saying "Damn Dooms, you come on"

I mentioned this in a thread last week. We know Weeded and Cassel won't be here next year and the odds are you are going to lose every game they start anyway. I think Moore or Showers may even give you a better shot at winning as there us no tape on them and showers is at least mobile. Hard to imagine either couldn't set back and flip a ball 5 yards to dunbar.

It's somewhat like hiring a person who has been fired from 4 different jobs just because they show up on time take good minutes vs challenging a young and maybe more talented kid who maybe you can build with or last pass one year end cycle

I'd like to see them have a young guy that is developing. Having a Weeden or Brad Johnson type is safe and easy but it limits you to less than half of your playbook.

They had a chance to win the Falcons game. If another QB comes in and starts throwing 3 or 4 INTs per game they won't have a chance to win a game. If they were certain that Cassell would not throw INTs, then I would get him in the game ASP; however, if they think his lack of time with the team will lead to INTs, then they need to stick with Wee-done.

Apparently, it doesn't matter what the coaches see and want. Our OC wanted Moore and Its rumored that JG was backing Scott in this decision. So why not? Oh Nevermind.

Explain Brad Johnson

Sometimes the fans are dead on. Not always, but it's not 0%

Yes he wanted Moore and had him in Det were he was a PS QB, Linehan did not promote him to a backup in Det. either. They did not move him up until Romo went out and then went out and got Cassel. Knowing Cassel would not even know the playbook in less than a week the Cowboys choose to move Moore from PS up to the 53. As for who plays again it is based on what coaches know not because a fan has never seen this guy play. Coaches do know and chances are Moore will end up going back to the PS

I think we can win some games with Weeden but we are not going to come back from behind. I think the defensive injuries really bit us yesterday more than anything else. No pressure on the QB and no one getting off their blocks to tackle the RB that went right by them. That was it in a nutshell. I think our Oline got a little bigheaded in the first half and got lackadasicle in the second while Atlanta got their act together on Defense.

Get Hardy, Gregory and Mcclain back and we may have something to work with.....

Same could be said about every backup quarterback in the NFL.

I always wonder who this Joe Montana backup is. I never see him. There are no Jon Kitnas anymore, and if there is, it's one dude.

What about Brad Johnson? he started 3 games for the Cowboys had a total of 89 throws and was 39 when he got to Dallas. Fans tend to base everything off emotions, look at this place people are going off right and left I sure as heck would hate to see this or any team ran by fans who allow their emotion to get the better of them.

I dont know. I want to see Cassell play, I dont think we win with BW.

But, we were playing the "wait for them to make a mistake" game. ATL didnt make that mistake.

maybe NOs will make that mistake?

I dont like it. I dont like to play that way. But, I think this is the approach the coaching staff is going to take......and even though I dont like it, doesnt make it the wrong way...... They are the ones getting paid to produce Ws.

One or Two mistakes by the Falcons and we probably win that game........? --- They just didnt make it!!!
