I'm guessing Dallas has around $5-6 Mil of cap space......

So we had $6.7 million before signing Adams and the RFA tenders are not counting either? That doesn't seem right, what am I missing?

RFA tenders and Hamlin's tender are counting against the cap right now.

And obviously, if we sign these guys long term, we will gain cap relief. Not sure why people are scared about the cap. As you always say, there are many different ways to get cap relief.

It would count against this year's cap, but they're already counting against the cap.

If no one tries to sign Barber or Canty there is no reason to sign them to long term deals right now. Take another year at $2.5M and $2M to see what they can do as full time starters.

I don't see how their cap numbers can be much lower if we sign them to multi-year deals unless they take way below market deals. That would be OK.

No egg on my face here pal. And I don't need Adam's approval to have an opinion about the cap. I'm not convinced MBIII is the long term answer at RB and if we can get a year out of him at a relatively low rate of $2.5M for a starting RB, then I'm OK with it. If we end up needing cap space, we can get it other ways.
