The thought is that if we can get to the the playoffs, he can return. JG didn't come right out and say it, but you could tell that was the thought...
The prayer...

In the unlikely event that we win out, why would you replace the QB that gets you there? This is a premeditated bad decision.
If I was Romo, AND somehow we made the playoffs, I would refuse to play again unless the OLine does better than it did against the Panthers.
Romo was the reason for the loss, not the Oline. And Romo is my favorite Cowboy of all time.
This Front Office never learns...
Hypothetically, say if Cassell were to win out and we win the east. We are banking on Romo to be recovered in 6 weeks from the 2nd fracture of that bone and able to play at a high enough level for us to compete in the playoffs?
Please Commanders put us out our misery on Monday
Funny how he will hold out all hope for the playoffs but still settle for 3 when down 20 in the 4th quarter in a year where we lost seven straight.

Jason is thinking of his future, not Tony's.

I'm hoping to be wrong, but this has all the makings of a Cowboys mail in game. Think Philly 2008, Lambeau 2010
unless Garrett hires an innovative offensive coordinator who can install his offense before the next game, it's not happening.

What part of 0-7 without him makes him think playoffs? Someone cue up Jim Mora
