No, it becomes idiotic when people start jumping to conclusions and judging the HC for things he never even said. But that's the norm around here.

How about this scenario: Somehow we win 5 straight and make the playoffs. Cassel gets injured in the playoff game. Who do you want playing in the 2nd half? Moore or a healthy Romo?

Are you seriously discussing who should be the backup QB in our playoff game?

When you think about this logically, it becomes even more idiotic.

Lets say we somehow manage to win 5 consecutive games with Cassel (I can barely type this without laughing hysterically) but just for the sake of argument he does. Garrett would then sit Cassel who is riding high and has the hot hand for a QB coming off back to back clavicle breaks and has played only 2 complete games all season, only 1 complete game in the last 12 weeks?

That is who we are putting in the lineup for our playoff game?

I haven't seen anything that says Romo isn't going on IR. They probably won't make the move until Friday or something like that. They have to make room to sign Kellen Moore off the practice squad- Matt Cassel is the only healthy QB on the active 53 man roster.

Plus, I've seen Orlando Scandrick in street clothes on the Cowboys sideline this year. I think players on IR can stay around the team.

You are correct. Dallas has until 3:00 pm Saturday to make a roster move to clear room for Moore. This has NOTHING to do with any kind of playoff hope or anything resembling it.

Ah, but he didn't say "he's not going to IR". You're banking on what he didn't say, and making a big deal out of it, when earlier in the week, both he and Garrett said Tony was done for the year, but would be back for team activities this spring. Neither one of them uttered the "dreaded" word, IR, but they were clear on it.

As for the "5 days later" garbage, what does that have to do with anything? They're going to move Kellen Moore from the PS to the active roster for the rest of the season. They have until 3 pm Saturday to make a move with Romo, and sign Moore. Why the hurry when there's no need to?

well supposedly we brought him back to early, so...if Cassel miraculously leads us to the SB maybe then we can expect Romo to play....if for some really really strange reason we got that far, Id rather stick with Cassel over a very rusty and injury prone Romo.....

I'm actually getting a lot of entertainment from these guessings and bets..stupidity is great entertainment, exactly why watching cops late at night is so rewarding.
