Funny how he will hold out all hope for the playoffs but still settle for 3 when down 20 in the 4th quarter in a year where we lost seven straight.
It's a process...

In the unlikely event that we win out
The thought is that if we can get to the the playoffs, he can return. JG didn't come right out and say it, but you could tell that was the thought...
In the unlikely event that we win out, why would you replace the QB that gets you there? This is a premeditated bad decision.

As crazy as it may sound, if certain things happen, the Cowboys could win the East with an 7-9 record. Yes. THAT Crazy.

No, it becomes idiotic when people start jumping to conclusions and judging the HC for things he never even said. But that's the norm around here.
How about this scenario: Somehow we win 5 straight and make the playoffs. Cassel gets injured in the playoff game. Who do you want playing in the 2nd half? Moore or a healthy Romo?
When you think about this logically, it becomes even more idiotic.
Lets say we somehow manage to win 5 consecutive games with Cassel (I can barely type this without laughing hysterically) but just for the sake of argument he does. Garrett would then sit Cassel who is riding high and has the hot hand for a QB coming off back to back clavicle breaks and has played only 2 complete games all season, only 1 complete game in the last 12 weeks?
That is who we are putting in the lineup for our playoff game?
I knew Garrett wasn't the brightest bulb in the package, but dam..........this takes it to a whole new level
They are 0-7 without Romo, you think it's possible that they can go 4-1 with @GB, Jets, @Buf, and Wash twice with Cassel leading the charge? LOL
I haven't seen anything that says Romo isn't going on IR. They probably won't make the move until Friday or something like that. They have to make room to sign Kellen Moore off the practice squad- Matt Cassel is the only healthy QB on the active 53 man roster.
Plus, I've seen Orlando Scandrick in street clothes on the Cowboys sideline this year. I think players on IR can stay around the team.
I'm not guessing anything. How about changing it to "5 days later, Tony still not on IR".
JG all but said, he's not going on IR. We all know what that meant. Now, if they change their mind, I'll be the first one to admit how wrong I was...
Both Jones and Garrett have said Romo is done for the year but will be healed for off season activities. He will go on IR when they move Chaz Green to the 53 on Friday. The amount of stupidity in this thread is scary.
