Dallas reaching #6 would be the absolute best story for the NFL this year and I don't say that as a Cowboys fan, I say it as someone who pays attention to marketing and ratings.

You mean reaching #9 and winning #6, would be the best story for the NFL next year....right?

I agree.

Right now the pats are number 1 in defense and offense. They are averaging nearly 450 yards a game and giving up 207.

We have a long way to go. Its a long season. We will need to play a perfect game in october to beat them, as for a superbowl we might need to be better than perfect to beat them.

All this super bowl talk is silly. Its september, how many times did the dolphins start 4-0 in the early 00's.? We have a lot of work ahead of us.

In a strange co-inky-dink, Mel's Gibson character was named "Jerry".

Okay, so we get to the Super Bowl, and across the line is the New England Cheatriots, who wins?

Does the NFL want a team convicted of blatantly cheating to win the Super Bowl?

I don't think so.

So - do we (if we can get there, like the Chicago Bears got Sunday night) get the "right" calls?

I think I am starting to feel like Mel Gibson in "Conspiracy Theroy". But what do you think? Could it happen?

Sorry, I lived thru the Benny Barnes "interferece" on Lynn Swann in Super Bowl 13 and the Dave Manders "I've got the ball" in Super Bowl 5.

On a side note, I fully believed that Billy Joe Dupree got to the 6 yard line in the 1976 playoffs versus the LA Rams. D#mn no instant replay!!!

So is all we have to do is win the NFC? Just asking??

Signed,
Whatever Mel Gibson's character was named in that movie

P.S. Julia Roberts looked goooooood!!!

I don't think the league will determine who wins the SB the 2 teams playing the game will determine the outcome. This is not the WWF this is a legit sport

All I know is watching Seattle get jobbed against the Steelers was disturbing. The Steelers shouldnt have that 5th SB.

I'm not sure they win the two against Dallas if the refs hadn't helped them then also

Yeah... I am too young to really remember those games...wasnt into football yet... but I them on disc and you only get to see highlights of game... would love to see entire game as it was back then.

I know about the Colts game with the fumble that was ours but a Colt took it from Dallas player in the pile or something?

What specifically are you refering to in Pitt vs Dal SB's? I am curious.... nothing we can do obviously
