I'm no longer livid. Calm, even.

Yesterday was the toughest loss since last year's loss to Washington in week 2. At that moment things looked pretty bleak.

Yet, considering the promise shown by Romo the last two games and his inisistence that this thing will be fixed, I have the feeling things will be all right. The lofty expectations many of us held at the beginning of the year may have to be shelved for now (although a three + game winning streak would considerably alter things)But still, we'll be fine.

I think we beat Arizona, possibly quite handily if our defense plays like they did against Carolina, Houston or Tennessee.

Against Indy, the odds are clearly stacked against us. Yet I think we can be competitive against these guys if we limit our mistakes. It won't be the blow out our more pessimistic posters envision.

Tampa we can and should beat. New York in Jersey will be tough but we can win there.
If we're 7-5 with 3 of four at home to end the season, I like our chances. if we're 6-6 we still got a shot.

Butg this much I know, whether we ultimately make the playoffs or not, I'm just gonna enjoy the ride the rest of the way

Yeah I've been like that all this year. I'll get really really frustrated immediately after the game, but then I think about the potentional this team does have, and my cooler throughs prevail and I realize we still definitely have a shot at this. I feel even more so this way after seeing Romo play like he has.

Things are so much better on the Romo ride, you're right. Because, as long as you've got a QB - a real, bona fide QB, you've got a chance in this league. It's been a long time since we;ve seen anyone look anywhere near this good. Even at his best during his stay in Dallas, Bledsoe couldn't touch Romo yesterday. And we get to hope for this for the next 5 years. I lost my expectations after NY - but I'm enjoying the Romo era very much so far.

What we have to do differently from last years devastating loss to the Skins is do the opposite.... just WIN.

Romo is gonna take us a long way. This team will get better and better each week. We beat ourselves yesterday, that isn't going to continue. We will win 6 of our last 8 with Romo running the show and don't be suprised when we UPSET the Colts in BIG D... I truely believe this. YOU'VE HEARD IT HERE FIRST.. Enjoy the ride cause its gonna be a good one with Romo. This kid is SPECIAL!!!!!

At one point in time Bledsoe was the best we had seen in a while. It's sad, but he hung tough in some difficult situations and did some nice things for us. But he was never as exciting as Romo is. Maybe that's cuz Romo is ours. Either way, I'm glad to have him.

that's the general feeling of all of us ex-Bledsoe-supporters.

I guess it's safe to say we were wrong

Me too but the Jacksonville, Eagle, and then Giant game convinced me. He was a QB that sees the rush. Thats a killer for a QB... He's done!!!!

Yeah, I remember both of you bashing me about me hating Bledsoe :D Not that I was touting Romo that much, to be fair, I thought Henson had the better tools and thought Romo would be a above Average QB, because of his penchant for mistakes.

He has surprised me last two games, other than his one Int against Panthers.

true. He had about 5 or 6 really good performances last year. Unfortunately that did not translate to this year and Romo has now surpassed him.

I don't buy that. I never bashed anyone for hating Bledsoe. I only bash when you;re wrong. ;) You must have been wrong. :D

to all the replys

hey, inexperience scares me, but once Bill put Romo in the game, I knew, he, knew Romo was ready, and that's all I needed, and that was my only argument against putting him in the last 2 games of '04, and last year, really

Of course he wasn't ready until this year. my reference to being wrong was my support of Bledsoe this year

Well you did think I was wrong about Bledsoe, only I wasn't, so there :p:

Anyway, I am not going to completely believe in Romo, no matter how encouraged and excited I am about his play so far. I have been bitten by Quincy/Chad/Anthony Wright/Henson bugs too much now, to start believing guys on their first few starts.

True, but none of those guys flashed the potential Romo has.

but I will say this

whoever was supporting ROmo, that he needed to play the last 2 games in '04

you were wrong lol
