I have read a number of people literally laugh at the idea of us beating Philly. It makes me wonder, if you truly feel that way, why bother posting on the board? Why watch the games? This is a young team. We're going to have some up's and downs. So far I think it's safe to say the games so far have been entertaining. Philly is possibly the best team in the league. But we're playing them at home. I think we match up pretty well. A few breaks and we win the game IMO. People have every right to post their opinions, positive or negative but if you think the team has no shot it strikes me as a major waste of time to follow it closely. Just MO.

That's not what I said. I'm not judging anyone. I'm just asking why would you bother investing a lot of time into your team if you think winning a home game against any team is laughable? Just a question. No need to get your panties in a bunch. Noone yet knows what the potential of this team is. Lots of people gave us no shot to win in SD. Probably laughed at the idea. Oh well. If you want to laugh at your team this is America, yuk yuk away.

I think this team will serve itself well by keeoing thegame close. If they lose by 3-10 they can bouch back with a good showing vs. NYG.

But a blowout - loss by 14+ - will not bode well for the nest few weeks.

There are no moral victories in the NFL. Only wins and losses. NE just lost by 24. Does that "not bode well" for them? No, you play 'em one at a time at at the end of the year they add up the W's. This is a home game against the top team in our division. We need a W.

Thank you....goes to show how used to 5-11 or 6-10 fans have become.

Personally this is NOT a rebuilding team...we got the pieces and spent money to win NOW! We have some young players, but they are pretty dang good too. We have enough vet and rookie mix to win NOW! Our offense is not made of Rooks, with Petitti the only exception...who is playing pretty good considering.

Bacuase Payton is a wuss and scared we are 2-2 rather then 4-0...JMHO

I think we have passed Filthy in terms of talent on the field...
I think they hold a major edge in terms of Off. & Def. coaching...

Unless we make some changes, zimmy isn't smart enough to stop them...And we would have to score 28 to win...

I do have an idea on how to beat them though...

Go outside and play w/ your kids - wait - play w/ your kids AND the neighbors kids

Finish burning those April Wine Greatest hits from LP to CD

We held Oak to one TD and I believe were getting better. What this team needs is some home cookin' after playing 3 of 4 on the road. We played Philly very well in Philly last year and I think emotions will be running high. We really need this one.

No doubt we are underdogs but I think Dallas has a chance if we can cut down on mistakes. I just can't join the crowd that says no way we can win, I don't have a defeatist attitude as so many around here have.

I am in the same boat you are my friend. I barely turn on WIP any more here in philly because i am sick of hearing how this is the greatest team to ever take the field. At least Desperate Housewives comes on Sunday night and my depression will be shortlived due to Eva Longoria and her teddies.
