Cowboy Nation is tired of the Dakota who constantly misses the bus every time the Boys go up against quality teams and DCs. The non-stop 3 and outs in the second half of last season destroyed all the momentum that the Boys had built up in the first half of last season. Dakota had huge numbers against the toads in the league OR when teams had control against of games and would slide into their prevent D, that's when Dakota SHINED! We're not HATERS, we're just fans who want a QB who has shoulders large enough who can carry this team when the team isn't hitting on all cylinders, a QB who can match up against the decent DCs in the league.
Your argument is a legit argument and it doesn't classify you as a hater, so my particular statement regarding those cowards dont pertain to you and other intelligent posters like yourself....
But here's my problem with your argument. I keep hearing that Dak only puts up numbers against bad teams, but i remember the first game of the season last year when Dak put up numbers against the Superbowl champion Buccaneers.
Dak put up the numbers but explain to me how its his fault that Brady drove downfield in less than a minute to line them up for the winning fg???
With that said, are we really saying that EVERY team Dak shined against were all bad teams?? Thats hard for me to believe because ive watched the games like everyone else, but are you saying Dak NEVER had a good game against a good defense???
Let me ask this last question. Why nobody ever bring up the MANY situations, Dak converted 3rd downs only to have it snatched back for holding, then another consecutive holding call putting us at 3rd and 25.
Or second and 7 then we get an illegal formation call or offensive pass interference calls??? Dak isnt elite and he does have his costly flaws, but how can we expect him to dig us out 3rd and long EVERY other possession???
Oh did i mention the defense unable to get off the field because of defensive holding, PI, hands to the face or offsides when the defense finally stop the opposition on 3rd down? How many third downs did our opponents throw at A. Brown for the easy PI or hard count that drew Gregory offsides???
Dak has to really really improve, but atleast give him a chance to get back on the field after the opponents get stopped on 3rd down.
We led the league in penalties.... you dont think that hurts the game plan and overall execution of the whole team??
