I'm really amazed!!

I think its a wash really. In Irvin's day, both the WR and the DB could be more agressive. Today, neither can be agressive.
Perhaps... I definately prefer the old days.

I don't think anyone ever questioned his ability. I have seen him take the ball over the middle and lay a hit on the strong safety then take off for the end zone. He's an incredible specimen.

I don't believe their's a CB in the league that can cover him..

Terrance Newman can.

Did Newman cover him in that first game last season or did Henry?

Edit: just looked at the play by play and it looks like mostly Henry and Glenn covered him.

Terrance Newman can.

Maybe so but for obvious reasons, that isn't a concern....:laugh2:

TO is a great receiver. He did push the Eagles over the hump and get them to the SB. What concerns me more is what he did for the Eagles last year. He tore the team apart and they missed the playoffs all together.

I don't think just TO tore the Eagles apart.

Yeah, what is really ignored about TO by most is his physical build and condition. He learned from the GOAT (Rice) a long time ago that staying in excellent physical condition increases your results and longevity.

People keep saying TO is old and such, but I don't think they take his physical conditioning into account. He learned from the best, I believe TO will be productive for a real long time, longer than most WRs.
