Cloverfield

You can watch episodes of LOST online for free. There are numerous links on the internet. I suggest watching Season 1. I love the show.

Val Kilmers - Salton Sea - Good show - great story

Hard Candy - Ellen Page - She played in the movie Juno - Great show!

Those are a few good ones I have watched recently that I enjoyed.

Good luck.

If you want to go out without a hassle of crowded theater, I recommend seeing "21" asap. It's been out 8 weeks here in the states so there isn't as much interest with the big summer movies coming out now.

I'm going to stick to Westerns for now, since that is what I know best.

Lonesome Dove (Warning it is 6 hours long, but worth every minute.)
Tombstone
The Searchers
Red River
Unforgiven
Winchester 73
The Culpepper Cattle Company (Very underrated oldie.)
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
High Noon
Stagecoach (The original Ford version, not the remake.)
Hondo
Shane
Rio Bravo
The Magnificant Seven
The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly
The Outlaw Josey Wales

That's a good start. :D

that show was quite top notch until right near the end where it weirded out imho.

I just watched a movie from Netflix that I'd never heard of before but it was fantastic!

It's called "Ladron Que Roba a Ladron" and it's a spanish-language film that's subtitled, but it was great!

It's a heist/action movie that's also very funny. I highly recommend it if you don't mind subtitles (or can understand Spanish).

A few movies that may not be known by some.

Formula 51 - Funny and action packed.

October Sky - Maybe it is just because it deals with youth in WV, but I think this is a very good movie.

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels - English movie but I liked it.

Excalibur - It is an older movie but I think the best one did about King Arthur.

Boat Trip - Silly comedy but it makes me laugh every time I have watched it. Roger Moore as a gay guy just makes it funnier.

Catch me if you can - Based on a true story and it is a decent movie.

Waiting - Yet another silly comedy that makes me laugh.

Shogun - One of my favs, even though it is nowhere as good as the book, still one of the better tv mini-series ever made IMO.

Bad Santa - Full of language but I never fail to laugh at it...when I say full of language I mean full of language.:D

Rock Star - I know many that hate the movie. However if you were an 80's metal head it is worth watching. LOOSELY based on Halford leaving Judas Priest and the guy who replaced him.

Porkys - Silly 80's comedy. Don't know if it was big over seas but it is one of those raunchy, silly 80's comedies that you love it or hate it...plus you can buy the 3 pack dvd set at a low price. All 3 have funny parts in them.

I have gotten my six yr old grandson interested in the INdiana Jones trilogy. We still have to see the Last Crusade in the next couple of weeks before the new one comes out. It was good to see him get excited about something I got excited about 25 yrs ago.

I had forgotten a lot of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom movies. He now like INdiana Jones over Spiderman which I thought was a big accomplishment.

I took him and his mom and grandmother to see Speed Racer for mothers day. Very disappointed in the movie. A 2 hr 15 minute kid movie gave me a major headache. Went on way too long.

I know watching the DVD is much better than catching it on TV where it is edited and the pain of the commercials intruding every few minutes.

However this past weekend they showed all 3 movies on the USA network both Saturday and Sunday. I watched all three as it had been sometime since I had seem them. Loved the 1st and 3rd one, still not too keen on the 2nd one.

I hope the new one is like the 1st and 3rd one and not like the 2nd one.

I totally agree on the 2nd one. It was demonic. Loved the Last Crusade with Sean Connery and looking forward to seeing it again in the next couple of weeks.

I have already informed the grandsons mom and dad that I am taking him to see the newest one since I got him hooked on it.

It is great when a young person finds older movies or tv shows and likes them.

My wife's little sister, when she was a few years younger, could not get enough abbott and costello movies or I Love Lucy shows.

I found it so odd seeing a young kid like those old black and white movies and shows as you could not get most to even consider to watch them.

We used to have a good time just watching her laugh at them.

What I find funny is the title of the new movie would make you think of the 2nd movie. Hopefully it is not like it at all.
