I'm so lucky to be a Cowboys fan

Around 1970 you could sense the Cowboys were about to break through. By then they had made the playoffs 5 straight seasons and were starting to get really close. The fan base started growing. I think the bridesmaid/next years champion reputation had a lot of people pulling for them. After the Cowboys broke through in 71 with Staubach the Cowboys popularity took off.

I like hearing fans perspective from the old school.

I was born in '83, been a fan since '91 season. My brother was a huge fan and I remember watching Michael Irvin catch a comeback route, get a first down and then do his trade mark first down sign. I was mesmerized by the star and was hooked! Love them, always have, always will!

It's always better to be a Cowboys fan than a fan of the deadskins, egirls, vagiants, or sqeelers.
