He'll be gone in the top ten. After tonight, he may be the first after Luck.

This is going to be one heck of a QB draft.

Andrew Luck - #1
Robert Griffin - Top 10
Matt Barkley - Top 10
Landry Jones - Top 15

It's conceivable that all of those will go in the top ten. All of the above are legit prospects.

Griffin reminds me of a more talented Vince Young. That is a good thing.

They are NOTHING alike, other than being tall, black and fast.

The kid is darn good and can play but don't worry, by draft time he'll be labeled as inaccurate, can't read defenses, poor throwing motion, and any other crap that can be heaped upon him. It happens every year. Just sayin!!!

I wouldn't even be mad at the Colts if they tried to trade down and hope some team gives up the farm for Luck, then the Colts take Griffin with their pick. While Luck is ready to start from opening day, I think Griffin needs to sit for a few years and there would be no better situation than to sit behind Peyton while he finishes out the last remaining years of his career.

Griffin will play one more year at Baylor, he isn't coming out.

His IQ is about 100 points higher than Young.

You may be right, but Griffin is better than Cam Newton and Newton's doing OK at the next level...

This kid does nothing but get better every year...

He could be scary good at some point...

Why? Romo, questionable as he can be, is a proven commodity and has another 5-6 years of solid play in him. Use those picks on offensive and defensive linemen please.

Barkley and Jones are both EPIC busts in the making. Both have 3-5 games a year in which they absolutely wet the bed.

If that is the ncase then look on the bright side...Griffin, talented as he is, isnt built to take NFL hits week in and week out. I wonder if he won't turn out like Vick, missing multiple games every season.

He's incredibly fast and has a live arm, but he is a twig by NFL standards. A hit from Ray Lewis might end his life.

TAPPPPPPP the breaks here. Newton took a middle of the road SEC team talent wise and won a national title almost by himself (he accounted for 80% of their offense) with a little help from Nick Fairly and Michael Dyer. Griffin is great, but Newton is a proven winner at every level thus far (HS, junior college and D-1) and is having an electrifying rookie season. No reasn to think Newton won't be anything less than great in the NFL at some point too, and more over he is a freaking brick house. At 6'6", 245 he can take a beating.

Yep. That's one of the differences between him and Cam Newton. While RGIII may be a better passer and is more accurate, physically, Newton is superior. He was ready to start on any NFL team at 6'6" 250. RGIII is about 6'2" and maybe 210. He's a knockout blow waiting to happen. Unless he's going to a team with a great offensive line (unlikely considering most of those teams don't have top-10 picks), his best situation would be to sit for a few years and get stronger.

Griffin's biggest weakness is that he takes a long time to recover from big hits it seems. Against KSU and A&M he got hit a ton and played poorly for much of the second half of those games. OSU gave him a big pop on the second series and he wasnt the same guy it seemed. Tonight he got hit a lot early and it took him a while to get comfortable again.

Maybe that changes when he isnt playing behind a no name offensive line, but I question his durability and his mindset when he is taking shots.
