That means the frickin Commanders will likely get RGIII... It's too bad, he's a likeable kid...

If only the Commanders would play other teams like they play Dallas, they might be a respectable organization.

Call me when a running QB wins the Superbowl ... Even Roger the Dodger and Steve Young quit running before they won a SB.

No they didn't.

And neither did Elway. In fact, Elway ran for a score in the Super Bowl. He got helicoptered for 6 points.

Aaron Rodgers is a running QB, he won last year.

Griffin isn't a running QB. Sure he can run, but he is a passer first and foremost.

Roger's best year rushing the ball came in 1971 when Dallas won it's first Superbowl. He only started 10 regular season games that year as he was splitting time with Morton.

I'll be nit picky. Elway didn't score on that play where he got helicoptered.

Interesting stat comparison between RG3 and the 20 past Heisman winners, 13 who have been quarterbacks. The 13 quarterbacks stats all compared here next to Griffin's:

Griffin's Heisman hopes may have just gone up in smoke. His durability will always be an issue.
So will your sanity, seems that Baylor's "sea of crap" keeps rolling without the star. Line up and have your head pounded into the turf while you're sliding defenseless, i'm sure you'll be ever so durable.

How's 6-6 treating you as well as that loss against what you called "the worst offense" in college football?

I see a pattern here, you're divorced from reality on almost every account.

Wow, really? Because he got a very illegal forearm to the head as he was sliding?

I know you and Aik have this feud going, but come on.

Does the guy running around and yucking it up on the sidelines in full uniform look like somebody who is seriously hurt to you?

Griffin acts like he just got shot anytime he takes a good lick.

Well he has two games left to do something, a nice 8-3 record and probably will have his team in the top 15 in the BCS after today.

Enjoy your off season.

Even at 9-3 Baylor isnt likely going to a BCS bowl, for two reasons. One, if OU beats OSU they are both going and they won't put three teams from the same conference in the BCS. Two, a BCS bowl with Baylor in it won't sell out. They won't pick Baylor over a school like Michigan.

Baylor is likely headed for the Cotton Bowl, but again that is a question mark because bowls pick teams based on both record AND who they believe will sell the most seats. A&M and Texas have both gone to the Cotton Bowl before with 7-8 wins because they know those fanbases will sell it out. KSU fans travel better, they might get that spot.

I don't know if tonights game will effect anything but one other possible factor in griffin staying it declaring us the olympics. He may try to make the olympics in hurdling and going pro would nut give him the opportunity to do so.

Ironically an Alamo Bowl appearance may be the best thing to happen, even over a Cotton Bowl as it would likely pit Big 12 number 3 versus Pac 12 number 2, meaning Baylor and Stanford.

RG3 versus Luck would be a ratings bonanza, and the media coverage would be very high profile.

That would be an intriguing matchup.

That is interesting. I was wondering what would happen if Georgia beats LSU in a close game in the SEC championship game. Will they put 3 SEC teams in the BCS? I seem to remember something like that being discussed in past years. Was it a rule or an unofficial rule about 3 teams from the same conference? I don't know, but it would be quite the dilemma if Georgia pulls off the upset.
