I'm still looking for juice

This isn't a do this or bust post. There are many different combinations of players I'd be okay with in the first two rounds and I won't really know what I want until they are actually on the clock with those two picks.

But as I wrote to kick off free agency I want juice. Speed and explosiveness on offense to help our QB (who we all hate and hope he gets hurt but for now are stuck with.)

That plea wasn't answered in free agency. So I turn my attention to the draft. Juice is my top priority as long as the value is there and at 12 and 44 it should be.

I'm not going to unearth any new names for you. You know them. Give me Matthew Golden and follow that up with TreVeyon Henderson. Completely change the dynamic on offense from slow and plodding to can score at any point on the field.

I love the idea of stealing Will Campbell or getting a blue chip LT in Simmons at 12 and there are several defenders, even corners, that I would like at 44 but this has been my top target for weeks now and I don't see that changing. I will enter draft night with this mindset. Don't give me just one. I want two. The both of them.

I can't imagine a more impactful use of those two picks.

I won't be surprised if Golden is the pick in the first. I think he will be because Stephen Jones has said we're looking for an explosive No. 2.

I will be a little more surprised by Henderson. I think this staff wants more power in its backs than juice. I wouldn't be bothered by Henderson, but I would think Kaleb Johnson or Quinshon Judkins would more fit what we want to do. Omarion Hampton brings both, but he should be gone before 44.

I want juice too. I feel like you can still get it if you go after Warren in the first.

You can get some juice a tad bit later.

RB Breshard Smith from SMU. Very fast and good pass catching RB.

RB B Tuten from VT Very fast and can be a weapon with screen passes, that is if Dallas is committed to the screen.

WR Isaiah Bond Texas. Although he does not get the love of Golden. He can be a fast weapon as well.

Couple Slot WRs

WR Tai Felton from Maryland
WR Chimere Dike from Florida

It seems to me, the best way to benefit Dak is to give him a defense that can force more 3 and outs, giving him more short field opportunities.

The Cowboys know Dak needs help. Those moves would jump start the offense no doubt.

Henderson is fools gold to me, worry about his lack off vision and durability. You want a speed back take Tuten.

Agreed this defense as it stands now is going to be brutal. Of course the offense is no better. But I'd rather watch a low scoring team that plays tough on defense than a team with a middling offense led by a QB who constantly throws back breaking pick sixes and a defense that constantly gets pumped.

Yeah so much for not drafting for need. They’ve laid it out to the whole league what they need.

I want a bell cow. Not just a decent 1,200 yard back. I want the alpha carry the team type back. I also want a speedster WR. Our offense has been so slow for years…

I think Simmons will be there at 12 and would love the pick. Doing so would admit last year was a mistake so it wont happen.

I agree and its exactly why I have constantly said I prefer Golden over Tet in the first round.

If we draft Tet, having our top-2 receivers running 4.5+ 40s, plus Mingo and Tolbert isnt ideal.
