I wouldn't waste my breath. Your typical consumer will never understand the difference w/ picking parts and building your own PC and the savings involved.

I don't do it anymore myself. I just build my Dell and roll w/ their warranty. I get a great gaming rig w/ 3 years of replacement and gold support.

And yes...it does cost more to do this.

I still build my own. I think I will always do this. Very simple to do, very upgradable, and a whole lot more PC for the buck. I can spend about $1k and get a PC that would cost closer to $2500 or $3000 if it was an Alienware or something similar.

The only PC I buy are laptops. I love my Samsung Series 9!

I recently purchased the Alienware X51 w/ i7 and 16 GB mem and GTX 660 card.

1200$ shipped to the door. Great discounts here w/ our Dell contracts in place.

I called our inside Dell rep on the phone and squeezed him. Just get them on the phone and hold them under the water.

They do a lot for you on a voice call.
