What a joke. He is slotted as the 3rd receiver because he is head over shoulders a better player than Harris and Beasley. Limited snaps in preseason don't mean anything, you can gleam this from all the work he has done in training camp.

Better based on what?

Silly debate. Harris and Beasley are slot guys and Williams is an outside guy. I think Williams was drafted as a long term replacement for Austin who has been rumored to be a cap casualty after this season.

Agree... the speed is awesome, but he has got to run the right routes, be physical at the line, get open and catch the ball.....NFL starting CBs will eat his lunch.....this guy is full of potential.....but he has to get on the field to learn the game.....you cant be a playmaker setting on the sidelines......TWILL is no DEZ or T Glenn

He'll get there. He's looking pretty stout for a rook. Of course he'll have to refine his game. But so did Dez.

I agree. We could cut Austin, save money and work on our lines. I like Austin. It's just the reality of football.

He's has a lot of glaring potential and seems to get open easily. I sense a bright future for him if we can actually get the football to him.

Yeah. Bc Williams season is going to rely on our QBs ability to get him the ball. Bc that's been such a huge issue for Dallas in recent years. Lolol, some of you guys

No, actually, some of you guys. I was being sarcastic because he got open and the ball was overthrown and another time the QB missed him. I'm amazed by how some of you are oblivious to what is actually being said vs. what you want to read.

Oh, so we are supposed to be mind readers now. I read your post correctly.

The snap judgments that are made around this place are laughable.

How about we give these rookies (Escobar, Williams specifically) a chance to play with Romo a little bit more.

I sense a taste of entitlement in this kid. The kid has not EARNED anything... and has been penciled in as the #3 WR.....Harris has earned the position and proved it on the field.....TWILL hasn't shown he is any better than Danny Coal.....injured, cant get on the field and disappears when he has a chance..... I want the Cowboys 3rd round pick to succeed but it has to be earned.... not given.......he gonna need 2-3 yrs to develop if he ever does......not ready for the big leagues IMO

Say what? I haven't heard a thing to make the claim that he feels "entitled" to anything. That's a huge claim to make. He seems like a very humble kid with great work ethic. I think the reason the team is penciling him in as the 3rd WR is because he fits what they are trying to do with Dez and him on the Outside and Miles in the slot. Also it's been said he has picked up the offense very fast and he is a crisp route runner and has been impressive in camp. He has been one of the better WR in camp this earning praise from coaches and even Witten. So who is to say he hasn't earned it. We aren't in the film room and from the stuff coming out of camp he has had a very good camp. But this entitlement thing is just BS. He is not a "diva" or a "baby" he is a humble hard working kid.

I agree. The guy is lighting fast and when he gets the NFL game down, he's going to be a great player. And I'm a big Dwayne Harris fan.

You and I debated Harris and you were absolutely right about him and I was wrong. Just wanted to give you props and let you know I love this kid Harris and I think he is going to have a good year and next year when he takes over the 3rd spot and moves in the slot when Miles is gone he is going to be lethal with Dez WIlliams and Harris

Did he even have a catch?

I'm kind of scratching my head on this too.
Didn't he have maybe 5 targets and maybe one catch?
I'm not trying to diss him.
I know he got open on the sideline on that misconnect.

Just curios where all this is coming from. Practice?
Plus, he and Harris have almost indentical 40 times..both right around 4.5.
I see him on the outside and Harris more inside though

In any case, I'd love for him to end up being great

I am really excited about this kid. Watched all the videos on dc.com and he has impressed me. I think the Cowboys got a good one. You saw a small sampling of how he is able to get wide open.

Completely laughable. I've never seen such impatience.
