How have they ruined our season 2 yrs in a row? The Giants and the Seahawks ruined our season the last 2 years. Actually the play of our team in Dec and in the playoffs have but you know what I mean.

A home game against the eagles in Sept. will not be the toughest game of the year.

The Eagles did NOT ruin our season last year. Your crazy. The Giants ruined the season. Not the Eagles.

With all the bellyaching around here I thought it was the "Cheatriots" that ruined our year.

There always seems to be drama in the Eagles and Giants locker rooms.

There is going to be drama in any locker room at some point or another.

Whats interesting to me is that Lito has been trying to get out of philly for a while, and with rosenhaus as his agent. He's been talking about not playing for philly since they signed asante but nothing has happened.

I dont think teams are intersted. I havent heard of any trade rumours or offers. It may be that the eagles wont let him go, but given his attitude i beleive they would have tried to work something out. Anyone been following this closely ?

Wait, didn't we beat them in 2003 23-21 and 2005 33-10?

And if you're talking about at Philly, we beat them in 2005 21-20 (?) and in 2007 38-17.

I get your point, but we're not that awful compared to them.

from 2005-present, we've lost to them 3 times, and they've lost to us 3 times.

Sheppard And Brown Make-Up
Written by Garry Cobb
Wednesday, 03 September 2008

Lito Sheppard just said that he and Sheldon Brown talked about the Drew Rosenhaus issue and worked it out.
Sheppard said they discussed the situation and got to an understanding after we (the reporters) left the locker room earlier in the day before practice. I personally didn't think there was much to it all.

Sheppard and Brown are like two peas in a pod. They came in the league together and have played their entire careers here in Philly.

I kiddingly asked Lito whether he and Sheldon were going to hug and make up. He said, "Get the cameras." Unfortunately we had no cameras in the room so they just laughed it off.

They seemed cool with each other to me, so as far as I'm concerned, it's over.

This is a quote 5char.

Really, I think the Eagles are as much to blame as anyone. If you look at a lot of the Eagle's player's contracts, many of them are underpaid. That's a tribute to their player evaluation: they often lock up good players to long contracts before they realize their potential.

But in the long run, this creates hositility as players feel spurned by the organization when it refuses to pay them.

Look at Brian Westbrook, who the Eagles were *finally* forced to renogotiate this offseason because he was locked into a long, low-paying contract. And he's STILL not being paid as well as MBIII or similar RBs.

Trent Cole is locked up for the next 5 years at about 5 million/year as well.

Yes I was talking about at the stadium not overall. I totally forgot about the 03 game!!

sorry its 6-2. doesnt change much of anything in my mind. They are in Dallas heads and they are very confident they can win in Dallas.

They came in and beat us in 06 and stole the division away. That game left a dent. It caused us to have to go on the road to seattle instead of playing a home game.

Last year they showed the giants exactly how to beat us. We still did ourselves in, but it was stinking jim johnson who taught the giants how to attack us. The giants cited that game repeatedly saying that showed us you can win in Dallas and how to do it.

Who cares what they did in the past. New Year, Pal.

I care pal, because pal, They are in this teams head pal, they have a good track record in Dallas since Reid showed up Pal. They are going to take it upon themselves to be the team that tears us down after all the offseason hype this year.

That is why I believe it is the toughest game of the year. Maybe not the most critical, but it is going to be a tough battle. Pal.

WOW!! It took 14 games for a team to show how to beat us? What was that? Put pressure on on Romo? I think by the 14th game and the playoffs all teams knew how to do it. It was a matter of executing it and the Giants did.

Rosenhaus really gets on my nerves.

Can't we just leave him on an island, out in the middle of nowhere?

How to beat us last year. Play just good enough defense to keep us to about 24 points and throw on Jacques Reeves all day.

Nonsense. If he was your agent you would want him looking out for you getting every dollar. Fair market value.

Back to our regularly schedule program.

The Eagles Locker Room is full of cancer's. :lmao2:

If you consider some of the teams we've been throwing out there since Reid era its pretty clear that none of those teams were as good as this one. I think its safe to assume victory against these guys.

From what I'm reading there isn't a lot of turmoil over there. For a team that was in the top ten offensively and defensively last year, you people sure aren't taking them very seriously.

Philadelphia is a threat to win this division. Their record last year does not reflect the talent on that team. If they get a top WR it will just get closer. Much.

I agree, but the question remains, "Will they do just that"?

It took Reid five years to seek a trade for a top wide receiver like Owens after it became apparent to him that his West Coast Offense wasn't going to take the next step without a premier receiver. Since Owens' exit three years ago, he hasn't attempted to fill that void.

The closest that the Eagles have come to providing McNabb with a bonafide gamebreaking receiver is DeSean Jackson. Unfortunately, in my opinion, Jackson will not evolve into the next Steve Smith and they'll still be stuck at the drawing board.

Reid's coming up on ten years in Philly. I wonder if he'll pull the trigger again and trade for another #1 receiver before the city's love affair with him runs out?
